Due to poor grades, Tsukune Aono, an average high school student, has been unable to get accepted into any private academy of his choice. By exceptional accident, the only school to accept him turns out to be anything but ordinary; the school is attended by youkai disguised as humans. Fearing for his life, he attempts to escape only to meet Moka Akashiya, a beautiful girl who just happens to be a vampire. Despite this, Tsukune decides to stay at the academy, hiding his human nature from students and teachers. Tsukune also discovers that when the rosary around Moka's neck is removed, her true nature emerges.

Well Gonzo was well in money troubles before SW. They were about to file for bankruptcy, but then when SW season 1 came out is was a huge hit. As such sales for DVDs and other merchandise sold VERY well and pulled Gonzo from the brink. But it was only temporary as most of the money went to pay off creditors but still wasn't enough. SW season 1 just delayed the inevitable. Gonzo may get season 2 done, but R&V looks like it will never be made.

OMG! What happened Shinobu? Gonzo are on of the most famous anime companies as far as Britain is concerned. Could you keep me posted about things? I was rather hoping to see the whole Tsukune and whip arc at some point in anime format

Gonzo is in financial trouble. I mean DEEP financial trouble right now. They've even had to delay producing the 2nd Strike Witches season. Word is that Strike Witches season 2 will be their last show before they're forced to shut down for good. if that happens then R&V season 3 will not happen. unless some other animation company picks it up. But i wouldn't hold my breath.

it's quite possible for there to be a season 3 as the show is quite far behind the manga right now. Whether they actually bother to produce it though is another matter. If it happens I dare say certain Moka and Mizore fans on this site would smile happily to themselves

Ive seen both seasons I tthink season 2 needed a little work Tsukune needed to go ahead and chose one of them there needs to e a season 3 were mokas two older sisters meet Tsukune

Encron i think your in the wrong thread here if you are reffering to season 2 which i presume you are because they have already finished subbing season 1. Also you might be able to get help as to why there are no subbers as of yet from the proper thread but then again you might not because i dont know if S2 has been liscensed of is an MFI workas of yet.

I have no Idea how can there be a second season when the storyline was changed so much, but I'll probably watch the first ep. I still think the manga is WAY better.

Tsukune kicks so much ass.
