Just a self quote from the 2nd page to go along with Imtakes recommendation.

Kemonozume retains the abstract and surreal style of Mind Games and is equally as cool. I enjoyed them all equally and are favorites of recent past.

Ah...thanks, XDie-Sama...I am going to look into your recommendation as well....I am hooked for sure on, Maasaki Yuasa's works....
I found the batch torrent on TK.....here's a little something..I am going to enjoy this one as well....bizarre and surreal...like it already!

I actually watched Mind Game recently and didn't know Maasaki Yuasa also did Kemonozume which happens to be a favorite of mine also, including Kaiba. I am now a fan, so I'll be paying attention to his work from now on.

Hmm where's the next Kaiba? Any ideas anyone?

Where's the next Kaiba? Gee, I wish I knew....best to just keep track of the Kaiba production team's next project....we can all benefit from that ... For any of you who have yet to see the movie, Mind Games, I recommend it highly...prepare to have your mind blown....well, with certain scenes anyway.....here's an example...lovely, yet surreal.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lIKCBCLo4U&feature=related
Nishi, an awkward young manga artist in Osaka, has had on longstanding crush on Myon. Thing is, Myon’s got a thing for rugged Ryo. Matters come to a head at her sister Yan’s yakitori restaurant, in the presence of the girl’s dissolute father—who happens to owe a bunch of money to a pair of creepy gangsters, who’ve come to collect. Things get ugly, and Nishi gets killed in a brutal, graphic fashion. End of the story? No way, that’s just the start. Pulling a fast one on God (in all his/her/its infinite manifestations), Nishi hightails it back to Earth, where he replays the crime to his advantage, steals a car and grabs the girls. Under a hail of yakuza gunfire, he bails off a bridge—and into the mouth of a whale. There, he and his two female companions encounter a tenacious and lively old man who has set up camp in the beast’s belly, longing to someday return to human company on dry land. With no immediate exit available, the quartet make do—fishing, fighting, making love, weaving tales of strange happenings on faraway planets and dreaming of life in the real world. Will they ever set foot there again?

Have fun any of you...who decide to take this one on....you will see some very "familiar characters" roaming about ....

While I love that style of writing, I think your first review does a better job of highlighting what it is that Kaiba does well, and what it does not do so well.

I never knew that "weez" was a verb though. Always learning something new I am.

I automatically assumed it was "breeze" until I looked at it again. It was nicely worded though. I think we only disagreed with your rating for the animation, otherwise we were in agreement with your first review.

To be perfectly honest I liked the series so much I decided to write a poem on it! When I finished my poem I realised it could also make a semi-decent review to the series! That's why I decided to add here. Am glad you liked it!

Hmm where's the next Kaiba? Any ideas anyone?

None of you follow Ureshi's comments? If you looked earlier, you can cleary see a link to download the osts...... I bet the link still works, bit faster, since it's a direct download.

I do! I do! Anyway, having read Ureshii's comments about Kaiba and the commentary from the many fans....I am happy many loved the series, as much as all of us here did. Nice tribute, monsta-san! And thanks, EricAnimeFreak, for the link....well, I am planning a Kaiba marathon and soon, as I am missing kawaii, Warp-san!

Okay I made a second review to this series. Ah but this is a review with a difference!
Kaiba
A hidden delight,
a secret gem.
Seek it you should,
you'll be richly rewarded.

Crazy, bizarre,
a twisted start.
Some funky animation,
it's a little bit much.

But stay strong,
give it a chance.
For if you do that,
you'll never regret it.

With a gripping plot,
outstanding cast.
The list of accolades,
is never ending.

With each passing episode,
the delight grows stronger.
You'll weez through the series,
at a tremendous pace!

A dramatic ending,
out of this world!
Applaud it you will,
it is absolute genius!

Which review do you agree with more? My first one or second one?
