Jan 8 2009 08:54 AM This show has my seal of approval as well, despite the random characters and other scenes that are involved. I see it like this because I am one for the random comedy and retelling a story that I've heard before somewhere.
It's... well... interesting. As a kid, I grew up watching the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers (not that I don't now... but after a while, you tend to fall off the bandwagon and want to give it to the younger generation...

). When I got older, these thoughts ran through my head... "I know how the Rangers are... they're in High School! What about the monsters? Aren't they in monster high school?! How do they keep the lights on up there? I can see why Lord Zedd was so mad... he must have been paying for all the food and upkeep of his minions."
Astro Fighter Sunred, took on these questions for me and the result was a nice 15 minute reminder that being a caped crimefighter without having a solid identity in the real world... is pretty hard to do. It's a scream to see some of the monsters working ramen shops, convienence stores, and trying to live a honest life while thinking of ways to defeat Sunred, a mooch off of his own wifey. xD! Why does she have a better relationship with the enemy than Sunred does anyway... >_<; ... it's always a hoot whenever they get together.
It's to die for and I'd totally say to those who were with me in my thought process about superheroes not made from DC or Marvel, who weren't set in stone so they could focus on their careers... Should totally consider this series a must get because it brings a smile to my face every time it pops out. Ah... and the running gag of the show... priceless.

; The OP is always something to be made wonderful... because it was crafted just like it was going straight to a boss battle of some sort!
