Okay...okay...I just saw episodes 4 and 5 and had a really good laugh...as dated as the drawing style is, the story line is cute and hilarious. Visited SD Project's fansub website, and despite not subbing an episode for this one in almost 4 months , they still list it as an ongoing project. I hope so, because I plan to watch it to the end...51 episodes in all.

This one just gets better as it goes along...I love it. The humor and the mishaps are so hilarious . Who cares how old it is? I'm glad the fansub group, SD Project brought it out again...I tried to visit their web site, but they are saying it is down for now...going to try later, so as to find out more about this series.

Oh man! I missed this series! Loved it so much when I was still a 4th grader myself~

Anyway, I hope someone would load all 51 episodes, cos' no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find them all~~

Yes it does, but the story itself is hilarious. That little baby is just so cute, a little ball of pure cuteness....and Natsumi is adorable, trying to care for her. The series originally aired in 1992, so little Natsumi as a 4th grader, comes from that time period while grown Natsumi, lives in the year 2007. This one's a keeper for me...51 episodes? Wow... That little gadget is interesting, sorta like a baby monitor/walkie talkie/cell phone all rolled into one . If you can look beyond the dated animation and music, you've got yourself a cute and funny little story.

I agree, Solarwing-sama...I'm gonna check it out myself and see what it's all about...sounds funny.....futuristic baby gadgets? Hum...interesting.
Update: Just watched the first episode, came out in 1992, anyway, the animation itself is dated as is the music, but the storyline is very funny and interesting. I don't know if the above two gents will like it, but I do!

The story sounds pretty cool and I guess I will give this anime a try. . .I'm all for comedy animes as long as there's a decent story to back it up. Mama 4th Grader, sounds funny but I'm sure I have heard/seen that title somewhere else. . .oh well, I'm gonna give it a try. . .

Natsumi Mizuki is a 4th grader whose parents have gone to London. Her Aunt Izumi comes to live with her. Izumi is an aspiring manga writer who is trying to get her first big break, so she doesn`t have time for a baby that appears out of thin air on Natsumi`s first night alone. The baby`s name is Mirai and her mother is *Natsumi*, but 15 years older. somehow, Mirai had traveled back in time. Now the young Natsumi has to raise Mirai while trying to keep her 4th grade life from falling apart *and* keep Mirai-chan secret from everyone. She has the dubious help of Izumi and some baby-care gadgets from the future. This is a pretty good sitcom with lots of funny and tender moments.

Alright, this has to be the weirdest title I've seen for a very long time.
Other than that, no comment, anymore.
I haven't seen it yet myself, nor am I sure I will.
