End of Edo period, aliens called "Amanto" began to invade the Earth, and the war between the Earth and Amanto broke out. During the war, many samurai lost their lives. However, the Earth was no match for the overwhelming weapons of Amand, and they surrendered to Amando. The government became a puppet of Amando, and Amandos had their own way in Edo city. On the other hand, the government banned the samurai from carrying swords.
The story takes place around a samuri and their buddies who live in this hard time for samurai,

I actually don't remember that episode.... I will have to re-watch it later It is episode 74 right of the first series? There's no way I skipped it...

My favourite Zura moment is probably when he was rapping with Elizabeth... 'Zura...

Zura is by far my ost fav character and elisabeth has her, ehm his own charm.

Jules do you remember that episode with the eye brow zombie infection? Hahahahaha, one of my favourites.

and now, I dont think they will ever reveal her real identity. It will be like with kakashi, mysterious till the end. But it reminds me of how I watched an episode of the old batch series 2 weeks ago and Elisabeth got switched with some weird creature and Zura didnt even notice. It was so..... rofl.

I'm wondering if they will reveal what Elizabeth looks like under that costume.... probably not, but it would be cool if they did. I really didn't expect them to lead this into an arc, I thought it was going to be just one episode about Elizabeth missing. I am looking forward to the upcoming episodes since I always enjoy the ones that are focused on Zura and Elizabeth.

Oh man, 232 was the funniest episode in a long time. Another great mix of comedy and build-up to an epic Shounen arc. My favorite bit was "All I can say is Elizabeth isn't picky." And then the upskirt stuff was great too. Really looking forward to the next one!!!

I wouldnt say Sket Dance is great but I really enjoy watching it so Im defenitely not hating it. And I can only judge Gintama based of what I saw in the crossover and that was one of the lousiest things Ive ever seen.

You got it wrong Accipiter. I dont hate Gintama, I was a big fan of this series for a long time and in a way I still am. But just like I said before, Gintama isnt what it used to be.... it had its time to shine and that era came to pass in my eyes.

I never even finished watching the old series. I think I made it to 160 and I was already strugling to keep watching...... at some point I felt more annoyed then amused by the humor and this didnt change in the new season.

I am not saying this series is bad. It is a matter of taste and taste is a delicate thing.

Yes, the characters are like that, but they can also reach massive levels of badassery that can rival any shounen Anime. But I can imagine how that crossover might have sucked for anyone who hadn't seen both series.

I havent seen this gintama crossover, but sket dance is incredibly lame series with primitive comedy... IMO
