Right after starting middle school, Akari Akaza joins the Amusement Club which is composed solely by her two childhood friends, Kyouko Toshinou and Yui Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, Akaza's classmate, becomes a member after finding out about the dissolution of the Tea Club. The Amusement Club, situated at the tea room facility since the Tea Club disbanded, has no clear purpose, being free for the girls to do whatever they want.

Yuru Yuri, a simple comedy show that centers around four school girl's daily life. Sounds like Lucky Star right? or does it?

The story is comedy, nothing more and nothing less. What's different? It actually delivers on the yuri aspect in the final episode I actually found a lot of the comedy in this show quite hilarious, mostly due to Kyoko of course. Kyoko really drives this show and it was interesting to see how much her character changed from when she was a child (shown in episode 11). The nice thing is that even though a lot of the jokes are recycled, there are often new twists to them that make them seem fresh.

Animation wise is slightly below average from Doga Kobo. I have seen better from when they worked on 11eyes or Koihime Musou. The art was similar to that of Lucky Star, which is sadly not saying much since we're comparing something made in 2007/2008 to something made in 2011.

Music was not particularly worth rehearing multiple times but certainly catchy. Seiyuu was good though, and again Kyoko = priceless.

Enjoyment? I honestly thought this would be yet another boring comedy show but this ended up being far more entertaining that I could have imagined. Certainly not the best I've seen but definitely worthwhile watching and definitely looking forward to the second season now.

Overall, the show is good. Not great and not terrible, but just good. A drawback for this show was its excessively long eye catch sequence and that's really the only major complaint that I have. Again, looking forward to season 2 this summer.

The last ep was really good with the whole cast together. And we finally got the Yuri stuff we wanted and the kiss of Ayano and Kyouko we all were looking forward to.
And after Chitoses rampage there was a battlefeald of another sort ^^

Overall quite enjoyable but not great. Worst thing was defenitely the animation, especially Kyouko looked really bad a lot of times.
Characters were enjoyable, even thought they couldve left out Akarin, Chinatsu, bigtits and blondie since they were mostly annoying and took screentime away from the other ones.

7/10 from me.

Lest episode was definatly the best episode. It was so halarious! Chitose's Chocolote "allergy" is a thing to be feared.

They are not in the same class (year). Kyoko, Yui, Ayano, and Chitose (and twin) are second year (8th grade US). Akari, Chinatsu, Himawari, and Sakurako are first year. (This makes Himawari's chest even more impressive.)

I love how they have adapted this manga to anime. The scene with Chinatsu's horrifying drawings and then the clay molding had me rotfl.

Ok a thought occoured to me and that is it looks like Akarin got written off once again with the class trip it seems. I mean she's in the same class as Yui and Kyoko along with the two girls of the Student Council. So i think it might of been one of those yuri pair set-up just for Kyoko and Chitose for this epsidoe.

With only Ayano, Kyoko, Yui, Chizuru & Chitose this show sure is great. But as soon as the other four (cant even remember their names) are getting involved its getting really bad. I hope they stay out for the rest of the show.

Too bad this show isnt like Shoujo Sect, Kyoko and Ayano make a great couple and together with Yui we wouldve a nice trinalge ^^

Ok with epsidoe 8 we now get to see the yuri girl's twin that has the same ability but drools instead of nosebleeds. Although I kind of have to admit that Kyoko is just so obvlivious towards how anyone feels about her. I guess it might be due to Chinatsu hanging around her enough to show how dense she can really be about things.

An interesting ep. Too bad they didnt go to the shrine together, I really wanted to see them in a yukata.

I really want a real Yuri series not only comedy yuris -.- After all I must say never saw a good one. Aoi Hana totally sucked, Sasameki Koto was only so-so and Strawberry Panic is still on my "to watch" list.

Ok with epsidoe 7 we pretty much confirmed that the two tsundere officers are paired off with each other since it's a normal thing to do. As for Yui the pairing they did here did seem kind of out of place though. As for Akarin it just seemed like she was hanging out with a friend of hers which seems rather normal ever for her. Also, Kyoko managing to hang out with Chinatsu only made it were there was a yuri possibility now between those two, but was kind of crushed when New Years rolled around.

In the next epsidoe the girl with the Mystic Eyes of Yuri is showing that she has a twin in the preview it seems. I'm kind of wondering what will hapen next epsidoe though.

Well with espidoe 6 it seems that Yui is rather dense over how Chinatsu-chan has a massive yuri crush on her. Although I was supprised that Kyouko actually tried to change her mind to be yuri over hear instead of being yuri over Yui. Although Akarin is always left out in the cold as always it would seem.

Also, to top it all off I think the best part is when Chinatsu-chan actually wore the Mirakurun cosplay outfit for Yui's child relative like that. Although it was obvious that she would of acted that way when eveything was all said and done mind you.
