the OVA was nice enough. The extra lesson was pretty good. To the moment when Kanon came in it was a bit meek. When she seemed to remember him he got a bit nervous. A nice indication about what we may expect in a next season.

And so the OVA just came out and it pretty much focused on the formation of the band along with Kannon having some kind of vague memory of Kami-sama at one point. Pretty much I think this gave the hint that she was hiding something that she wasn't fully aware of at first.

With that I'm sure the 3rd season will be out sometime next year at the earliest mind you.

Season 2....kind of a letdown. There was some development on what the loose souls are, but that hype really died down in the second half. A lack of Haqua was also a major issue when people and the promotions made such a big deal about her appearance this season.

Season 2 ends the same way as its prequel with an "omake"-like episode about Keima's games. Good comedy relief, especially of it reminding me of the "Am I cute ~uguu" meme.

Animation is the same as its prequel which is solid coming from Manglobe. OP visuals continue to be stunning along with the subsequent music. It's interesting to see the ED not having individual heroine themes like the first season did, but it wasn't that important.

Character development was also pretty solid this time around. For a 12 episode show, they actually covered quite a lot of ground. Bringing back the prequel's heroines, particularly Ayumi was a very nice touch.

Enjoyment? Aside from Haqua's arc, there wasn't much interest in this show. Kusunoki's arc was similar to those in season 1, Chihiro's and Jun's arc provided an interesting twist into how Keima thinks about his life.

Overall, from what it looks like, Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai will get a third season, and will likely be the last given all the dialogue hints in that preview and final couple minutes. As a stand alone however, the second season didn't really move the plot more forward than the first season did. Hopefully the third season (if there is one) will provide more interesting twists like in Haqua's arcs.

Preliminary Score: 7/10
Final Score: 7/10

Well pretty much this epsidoe was nothing more that Kami-sama showing that there always a confict of interests in making the perfect game. The reason for that is it's improbable to use most of his ideas in a single game since it can be either too costly or problematic. Never the less pretty much he did like how the story was setup and how the heroine had an intersting personality. Although oddly enough the anime made it look somewhat accruate to what that game was shown in the manga though.

Well on the up side at least Haqua came back for one more run along with Kami-sama's mother again. I mean his mother doesn't get much screen time to begin with even in the manga though. Also, seeing El-chan's hair down again made her look lovely once more.

Oh yeah and there was a reason why the first season girls were shown along with this season's as well that Kami-sama had captured so far. Not only that, but we're going to see 4 more major captures and a twist that kind of unlocks his second campagin for the next season. Oh yeah and I think it's going to start off with the OVA epsidoe since El-chan did mention a horde of Loose Souls on the move at the end.

In any case I look forward to the 3rd season here since they are doing a good job on following the manga here and there. Although I'd be supprised if the OVA is the omake sketches of the girls he already captured so far mind you.

But what I didnt get was why was Jun working in a convenience store? Did she stop wanting to be a teacher? Cant imagine that.

She not at a teacher yet, so it's not surprising that she's taking up part-time job for paying for expenses.

And let's not forget this blow quite a bit of money on the "PFP" as well

Oh and on 16. september an OVA is airing. Probably something fillerish I guess. Still looking forward to it.

It isn't going to be "fillerish" and won't be "aired"....released on DVD and Blu-Ray and will be based on chapter 54 and 55 of Volume 6 giving the hint that a season 3 might be happening.

Even though the last ep was pretty fillerish I really enjoyed it. Especially the batles of the different Keimas in different times. Or the drawing of Elsie and Haquas reaction to that. But she is right, for Keima to fall for a game with that crappy animation ^^

But what I didnt get was why was Jun working in a convenience store? Did she stop wanting to be a teacher? Cant imagine that.

After the horrible first season the second season was really far better. This time the captures where interesting and there was a lot of characterdevelopment for Keima. Especially since he seems to give Reality a second chance.
Haqua was a nice addition too but I hoped she would appear more.

This animes success is really depending on the captures so I hope in season three they will be interesting again, even though Im not really happy with what I saw at the end. I already know I will ahte the arc with the little kid.

A 8/10 from me (first season was 4/10).

YOKKYUN!!!!!! So cute, and obviously a parody of a KEY heroine. I thought they always had multiple heroines though, in their games? I remember when Keima picked the game up from the bargain bin, he probably didn't think much of it... and now it's his favourite. Funny how life works out sometimes.
Overall it was a great ending episode, I liked that we saw some shots of his past conquests, and we got a glance at some girls he will have to conquer in the future. I liked this season more than the first one, probably because Keima went through some rough times and because of that we understood his character a little more. In the end my grade is between 7.5 and 8, I just went with 8 on MAL since I did find it overall enjoyable.
