NEWS UPDATE:
FINALLY Got my hands on the Hoshikaka Manga by Kurumi Morisaki Volume 2.
And only ONE thing to say:
THE MANGA VERSION IS 1000X BETTER THAN THE ANIME, NUFF SAID.
The reason:
The Manga version although has elements from the anime, DOES use Madoka Koumoto as the heroine and has built up some pretty solid story development from the common route as well as her own route too. The ending for the Manga will be similar to the spoiler CG I posted in my previous post in this thread. For Madoka fans who have been hurt by this crap show, THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU!! Contact your online manga store on how to get this masterpiece over to your area asap before you miss out!

Chinese men are notorious for hating women who are outgoing like Asa. They want a woman who will be at your beck and call like Keade.

Actually most Chinese gamers are pretty much in love with lolis, tsunderes and sisters just like some of you guys are. However, nadeshiko-type heroines are an "Ultra-Rare" breed in the 3D world, that's why they are quite cherished in the 2D World.

Plus, the reason why there is so much hatred in the East Side for the anime not taking Madoka Koumoto route is because of THIS SPECIFIC CG▼
(BE WARNED: This picture is taken from the Hoshikaka Visual Novel itself so it's a potential spoiler)

This is the Ending CG for the game's Madoka Koumoto Route.
Last 2 lines of storyline script reads: "大切な思い出の場所を……星空へ架かる橋へ……", which literally translates to "The place where our most important memories lie, is the bridge that crosses past the starry skies...". With the second part directly implying to the title of this game. It has been obviously established that Madoka Koumoto is supposed to be the REAL heroine of this story but why Ui was the one being marketed by feng as well as Doga Kobo was beyond comprehension.

Btw: Chinese Translation Patch for the game has already been released last year by ImoMoe Scanlation Group, which has since been disbanded and succeeded AnzuMitsu Aihou Douhoukai which also hosts all patches made by ImoMoe as well. They also have released a Chinese Translation Patch for another eroge that also has made an anime adaptation: Mashiro-iro Symphony ~Love is Pure White~ as well as its All-Ages PSP version called Mutsu no Hana.

O i forgot this series which indicates how bad this series dropped during the running.
First of all this series as being a bit of harem series did actually have a decisive choice of girlfriend. That is a plus as most series don't dare to make a choice in the end. However the choice itself was pretty badly done as the girl chosen had one of the worst character developments of the series. The point of this kind of series is to have a sort of equal development between contenders but that was poorly executed. Madoka as mentioned by Kit-Tsukasa had nothing to show even if she is expected to be a possible choice. Ui failed also as it was presented as a take-it-or-leave-it option.
In doing this bad development it also ruined its storyline which was weak from the beginning. So storywise and characters were bad in this series. Animation was nice though nothing special. Music...well let's forget that..

In all a weak series to begin with and it ruined itself by making the biggest mistake of character development which is crucial for this kind of anime...
Sorry to say i am only giving it a 4 out of 10..

But here it wasnt as worse as in Toradora since Madoka and Ibuki got rejected in ep 9 and 10 (I think it was those).

Just to correct your statement quoted here, Madoka got the NB at Episode 10 and Ibuki got hers at Episode 11 (not 9 and 10 as you said).
Also, there is also a manga version drawn by Kurumi Morisaki as well. Unfortunately............
The manga story follows that of the anime as well, with a few differences such as a Chapter 00 introducing the characters, and certain changes in minor details in the story.

A nice ending to a not so great show.

The biggest negative point of this show defenitely was the time. With all the characters 12 eps could never have been enough from the beginning. Everything was rushed, nobody really got any development except Ibuki and the "1 story 1 ep" format wasnt great either.
Overall the characters wouldve deserved a better series. After all there was Tsumugi, Sakai, Seika and the hot mothers who all didnt get enough screentime, while the totally uninteresting characters like Ui, Madoka, Ibuki, Ayumu, Daigo and Kazu got more then they deserve.

Sure its great seeing a harem show with a couple at the end but this here is a total Toradora revival in this way. In both shows it was clear from the beginning who he will choose, but the show didnt portray it that way. But here it wasnt as worse as in Toradora since Madoka and Ibuki got rejected in ep 9 and 10 (I think it was those).
The pairing itself normally wont hold since they totally dont suit each other. Sure Uis looking good and would be great for a One Night Stand but totally no girlfriendmaterial. Ibuki had the best chemistry with Kazu.

Overall a 6/10 from me. Again vasted material.

Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi is based off a visual novel made by the creators of Akane iro ni Somaru Saka. For those who didn't know, the story for the anime was written by the same person who did all 3 Koihime Musou series to date along with Myself;Yourself. For those familiar with Myself;Yourself, this show is in essence a significantly watered down version of it. For those unfamiliar with the series, its another harem show...with a brother involved. No there is no yaoi/incest. There are "traps" to some extent.

On a more serious note, what this show really lacked was any significant development. We all knew that Ibuki, Ui, and Madoka were going to be the ones that the series came down to. Whether or not one actually got picked is another matter. However, the lack of Madoka development really annoyed me. As an iconic character of the show (showing up as the first heroine character in the series if I recall), it's incredibly disappointing to see her get little to no screen time or development. Ibuki got a little too much development and obviously get the short end of the stick as expected in the end. Sakai got a bit too much development as well for being such a minor character to the overall "plot."

As for the last episode, that was some terrible acting by Tsumugi when she was "faking" her illness. Also, there was a lack of any significant buildup to Ui being the one chosen in the end. It's nice to see a harem show finally pick a girl again, but it's annoying to see a lack of direction leading to it.

Animation is by Doga Kobo, the same people who provided animation to Koihime Musou, 11eyes, and Myself;Yourself. The animation certainly had a feel similar to 11eyes but a step up. Definitely a plus for the studio, but certainly far from the norm quality of animation....though the highest quality animation was the carriage in the last episode...

Music was pretty bad for this show...and seiyuus were all really bland here (they all sound the same in this show for the most part).

Enjoyment? Not really. Ui's airhead antics were a bit awesome at times and Ayumu's trap fest was a tad hilarious, but other than that, this show had no enjoyment value. Kasane was awesome, but lacked screen time to have any significant impact.

Overall, I wouldn't even call this show a disappointment. It was bad to begin with and bad as expected more or less. Nothing special from this show, and the "plot" was simply all over the place. You could literally skip over half of this show and still understand what's going on and what you may have "missed." When a show does that, you know that it's a bad show.

Preliminary Score: 6/10
Final Score: 5/10

should note that I did not care about who he ended up with, I just liked the "story" Hoshizora~ had.

I have to agree. This is defiantly the biggest disappointment of this season.

Is it just me or did they just try to shoehorn the Ui ending from the get-go here? I really dislike certain harem series that go for the girl the guy first kissed at times. I mean it felt like there was a chance for Ibuki here and there since she did have the better personality here, but Ui was pretty much the bubbly ditz that somehow managed to come out on top while it was focusing with the other girls here.

Besides it pretty much goes by the ratio of the first girl that the lead guy kisses usually ends up being the girl he chooses at the end, weither or not it was the girl he wanted is another matter here.

It would of been a bit better if they didn't try to go all over the place like this and then suddenly do soemthing like this in the end. I mean he had a bit more fun with Ibuki if you ask me. Although I'm sure others would say the same for the girl they liked in this series as well.

Hmm I wouldve wanted the Ibuki end since I think they have the best chemistry together, even though I dislike her mostly because her horrible voice.

Ui was pretty funny at the beginning of the show but is totally annoying now.

Madoka is meh too.

Only really good choices would be Hina, Tsumugi or Senka.
And of course all the hot mothers of the girls, mostly Hinas mother, or Daigos mother, or the other ones ^^
But they are all far too good for him. But it would be a nice twist if he rejects Ui to confess to Senka and somehow I can imagine myself that happening.
Or he goes the Ayumu route, not impossible either.
