This show...I already planned to watch it during the summer but pushed it off after hearing negative reviews about this...To be honest, I'm glad I did push it off. This show has a lot more downs than ups if you ask me.

The show starts off with an airhead effectively traveling across space and time to an altered world of the Warring States era. The first three or four episodes at least starts off with some hint of an okay story, however after that, the show takes a serious nosedive. The next few episodes feel like filler with Yoshino fooling around with history. After that and up to episode 10, the show progressed at the same feel the first few episodes did making it okay to watch. However, episode 11 is really where things made a turn for the worse. While I had expected some form of magic, I was really not expecting something that far out of the ordinary that it makes the show entirely deus ex. The teacher meets a time traveler from the future and thus starts the show, a ton of magic overload, and essentially everything just goes wrong from here on out. As far as I'm concerned, Ieyasu turned into a magical girl and turned this show upside down. Oh and did I forget to mention the talking dog?

Animation and art was decent by TMS. Nothing particularly outstanding or unique yet nothing that made it really poor either. The cheap part of the show was really drawing soldier faces. Almost none had an actual face drawn. The other thing that bothered me was that none of the characters actually constantly held their weapons yet they suddenly appeared when they battled...

Music was decent overall. The background was a strong point for this show even though the OP/ED themes are not particularly something I would like to listen to over and over again. Seiyuu wise I'm not particularly impressed with the cast, then again, it may also be partly due to the poor execution of the show.

Enjoyment? Okay up to episode 11 really. Really disliked Yoshino as a character though as I found her to be just plain annoying. On another note, however, the show remained rather tamed if you ask me. I had expected significantly more fanservice to the extent where it would "drive the plot" like in Ikki Tousen or Queen's Blade, but the show really defied that expectations and made it much more watchable in that regard.

Overall, I wouldn't say the show had much potential but I will say that if they were going to mess with the space-time continuum then they should at least plan it out. This show rings the number of shows trying such a plot to 3 in 2011 with Madoka Magica and Steins;Gate being the other two titles. There are a lot of flaws in this show and lacks its watchable character after episode 11. Furthermore, there are other titles that have the overused Sengoku era premise and are generally better, most notably Sengoku Basara.

Preliminary Score: 5/10
Final Score: 4/10

This series was far better than I first thought it would be.
It had enjoyable characters (Nobunaga is just the awesome), good comedy and a nice touch of seriousness.

A 7/10 from me.

Ok I still feel like there is nothing much to comment on other than these episodes feeling like nothing but filler moments just to try and introduce the cast, and try an sshow some personality it would seem. Although I never would of guessed that trying to avoid telling the 100 Ghost Stories would accidentally have you end up at the Sanzu River. *sigh* If only the ferryman was female and not wearing that scary mask, I would of cracked up laughing there.

Im still watching it too and its prety enjoyable but like Kid said not much to comment on. Except that I totally love Nobunaga in this one. She may not be as coldhearted as the one in Sengoku Basara but still she is a true warrior without beeing too arrogant to take on advice from Hideyoshi.

While I'm still watching it I just feel like there isn't much of a reason to comment on this so far.

It's not bad though, but I feel like there isn't much of a story other than playing it out as an all female cast in the Sengoku time period. Although I did like how Kenshin looked here, but I kind of prefer the Kenshin frm Sengoku Rance mind you.

Wow. I can't believe I watched four episodes of this show. It hasn't gotten any better since the first one. Probably best I let it go...

Funny though, contrasting this Oda Nobunaga with the one in Hyouge Mono.

Ok with episode 2 it more or less confirms that Nobunaga is having slight feelings over Hideyoshi here, and it kind of shows. Not only that, but Shiro is kind of a fun character to show off with Hidyoshi here. Pretty much it explains that she ended up in the past that can bbe consdiered a yuri world kind of deal.

...I don't think anyone can accuse Kid of having overly thick yuri goggles this time.

Oh that's because I have poor eye sight, and someone gave me a pair of glasses to see better, but unforunatelly they were really Yuri Glassess.

Although my eye sight is much better with them mind you. Although the price is rather high depending on what I'm watching though.

Well you could also say that I have Mystic Eyes of Yuri Perception.
Kudos to the one who knows the reference I was going there.

The way Nobunaga was blushing at the blond girl at the end, I don't think anyone can accuse Kid of having overly thick yuri goggles this time.

I dont think we will get real yuri here, more likely deep women friendship.

To me that sounds like yuri in my book.

In any case who knows, and this might be the only way to give otakus a history lesson of the Sengoku period... sometimes.
