It looks like the series may have ended with this latest episode 45 according to the fansub group. I just watched it and had the same reaction so unless they plan more, Shin and H-chan remain platonic parents to Mao-chan.

EDIT~UPDATE!! Rumor has it that this one ain't over yet! It was stated on MAL next episode/new season scheduled for April 8th 2013. We shall see!

So after that festival episode we get a big adventure dream. It was nice that they included the parents as children this time. Since the principal and Ito-sensei are not present they probably be at the treasure to welcome them all. Still it is a bit sad we don't get a real continuation of the story which was introduced in the first episodes of the series.

So two episodes who focus on Karin and Rai. Itsuki was pretty mean to Karin with his lie about her being taken away. Shin seems to be a much nicer dad to Mao than he is to Karin. It is too bad we get a series who seems to concentrate more on daily things instead of a bit more depth like Mao's heritage and so on.

the new season just began with ep.40 (S4 if we consider 13 eps in each one) with the three little devils helping their young parents in house duties, for me the funniest scene was the final one after "lend a hand" contest with a grumpy Mao complaining "stupid Pepe... next time you'll lose" xD is good to see this series keeps going (unlike Poyopoyo Kansatsu Nikki ending in ep.52), but each time I doubt more if the questions you asked will be answered in this adaptation -.- probably that info can be found in the manga

This was nice. Having the three chibi devils get groceries was a fun idea. The best was with the granny-part. In their opinion everyone older than them is a granny . However i do find it sad that we haven't gotten any information anymore about the chibi devils themselves and what will happen in the future. I can't imagine them staying in this world. Also more info on the principal and a progression on Shin/Honoka's relationship would be nice to watch.

actually that's why the nursery exists to take care of Mao while they can't but both totally forgot to bring him there, if adults are irresponsible at times now watch kids leaving a baby at a flat where he can burn stuff at will... from ep.35 onwards looks like the development between Honoka and Shin's releationship will have less priority now that a pokemon was introduced, this series used to be as enjoyable as Poyopoyo but lately is in the level of Recorder & Randsell

What I found most disturbing this ep was that they actually left Mao home alone despite him beeing only a few months old. Thats completely irresponsible and sets a bad example for people, especially when the babys are in a phase were they want to explore everything.
This ep totally degraded the show by a lot for me.

It was a nice episode again. He is just a little devil . I wonder when we will get a continuation of the relationship of Shin and Honaka. Mao is starting to explore and he's bound to question the relationship

Someone's been too naughty and has developed a penchant for pushing buttons and I ain't just talking remote controls either. Mao-chan has broken a promise too and I like how H-chan reminded him of that. Poor Shin-kun lost his soccer team...what a drag!
Anyway, let's see where this new development goes and how much Mao-chan will learn from it all.

The three devil baby's were cute again. fighting with swords against playing princess was a nice one for showing the difference between them. I wonder when we will get a continuation of Honoka's bid to win his heart.
