Indeed Mao seems to be struggling. It ain't so difficult to know where he is
Honoka and Shin also seem to have trouble with their emotions. I wonder if one of them is going to say something. That will probably give another wonderful scene.

yep is nice to see a new season (if that's the correct term as it began this Spring) and it took a while to release in english from #16 to 18 despite being short episodes (19 is still raw) but I can understand why fansub groups didn't take it as priority, they must be busy translating all the anime series picked recently and didn't rush to sub them because there were many breaks between the 15 eps. of the previous arc starting in Fall 2011 as the same can happen again... anyway just watched them subbed but some characters from the first chapters of the original story don't appear yet like Mao's real parents or the antagonist couple who kidnapped him twice and probably those will remain as manga-only, also since ep.1 of the series that dragon outfit reminded me to a green dinosaur of the Bubble Bobble games by Taito and even more now with those "happy eyes" ^^

Watched episodes 17 and 18 back to back on YT. No English subs only Spanish...anyway, our witto hero is struggling with so many emotions! Jealousy, envy and misunderstandings. Hono-chan has come to realize something very important with regards to kawaii Shin-kun. Glad this cute little series presses on. I hope for the sake of those watching with English subs, they sub soon so you catch on as to what I refer to.

So we get more episodes of this small series. Shin stood up for Honoka again and somehow i get the feeling that Itsuki may like Honoka as well. I wonder which way this little series is going to go.

Konichiwa, Mao-chan...again! I saw Chibi returned sometime last week but was waiting on it to be subbed and now, well, am rewarded with such. Off I go to watch...gambatte, Mao-chan.

Edit/Update: http://anxious-he.com/1166/chibi-devi-16#comments
According to the fansub group, "tis a new arc story" so, looks like we will be watching more Mao-chan and company.
Liked how Hano-chan plans to become stronger so she can stand up to those stupid snooty girls at her school. I-kun is a tad snooty himself but he might mean well for being mean...we shall see. My sweet Shin-kun is as adorable as ever in defending Hano-chan from said meanness.

yup as the title says Sayonara Mao-chan it was a moving episode watching how Hanoka says farewell to the baby then crying afterwards while she remembers all the times she took care of him, good thing Shin encouraged her to return and keep being Mao's mom as Itou and the director expected her to come back... telling by the ending looks like this is the last we will see about Chibi Devi but probably there will be an epilogue in case another comes next, if not then I give it 6/10 because for only 15 eps. it took way too long to finish (almost half a year) after many week breaks and there were many unanswered questions like who are his real parents (if it's not the director then what's the point hiding his face?) or why those babies were dropped in the human world but without taking that in consideration it's one of the very few enjoyable short series lately that felt nostalgic as it was made in the 90's

Mao had to man up to confront a ghost, I wonder who or what he really is

Mao had to man up? How sad and only a baby too....too funny. Best line yet in this thread. Thanks for the laughs, Necro-chan. Now, I will go and watch the episode.

Update...yep, Mao-chan was way brave for such a crybaby. Glad he saved the day and matured as a result. Now, one month later...is it really sayonara? We shall see...Hano-chan is gonna go berserk if it is.

Well, that is what the fansub groups were reporting but if it ain't over...it ain't over and I for one, am glad.

as one month already passed in the story and Honaka has to part with her devil baby probably the last episode will be next, though there are many short series that last in 16 eps. so it may take two more to end... well that night was a scary expedition for the babies (except for Rai that had fun as usual) and Mao had to man up to confront a ghost, I wonder who or what he really is but looks like hottie Itou and the director aren't the only ones that attend the demon nursery

Gambatte, Mao-chan! What a cute episode as our witto hero tires to endure a sleepover without mama and papa...hell, the kids need a break too and I was made glad to see them off to the movies and such. Shin-kun was so kawaii being courtly while Hano-chan was shy and thinking "dato."

hmm so the 13th wasn't the last episode after all, probably this short series will have 24 or 26 eps. just like Morita-san wa Mukuchi which is a good thing... so Shin asks out Honoka to have fun as a date while leaving Mao in his first sleepover at the chibi devi nursery, I think next time the director will put him the godzilla outfit to relieve all the stress after crying so much
