The prequel isn't bad, at least not for it's time. Looking back, especially with the sequel in mind, yes it's bad. The characters are not as interesting and the episodes are like one-shots for a really long time. Still hilarious though with the Godspeed Magician flying around.

I still think Pollon and Fudo were the biggest trolls in the book. Coming off the first series we were given the impression that Apollo was the reincarnation of Apollonius and the Solar Wing, the latter of which was later refuted at the end of the series when Aquarion was actually the Solar Wing. In EVOL, we were then trolled even more when Apollo was not Apollonius but rather Pollon's reincarnation. Lastly, Aquarion wasn't actually the Solar Wing but it was Fudo himself along with being the actual reincarnation of Apollonius.

Yes I did because I heard that it didnt matter if I watch it or not. And if you say the prequel was really bad then maybe it was good like that ^^
But youre right knowing the prequel wouldve made the last few eps a lot better, but who couldve known that they went that way all of a sudden.

You watched this without seeing the prequel? In that case you missed the best aspects of this show already. It's a lot more fun when you know everything from the first series and then see the revelations here.

So everyone gets a happy ending here. Amata and Mikono are finally together and both Kagura and Zessica are happy with it, Andy gets his Mix back and even Mikage is finally "together" with his love.

Overall this show really was a hilarious ride with its main strong point that it never wanted to be anything else. It was full of ridiculous stuff, innuendos and parodys that it was really enjoyable each week.
Characterwise it was an interesting mix of all kinds of characters with Amata beeing the weakest because he was, just like Aus already said, a typical anime male lead, just like Mikono was a typical female lead.
It had a few interesting couples like Jin and Yunoha (despite me not liking both), Andy and Mix or Cayenne and Shrade (which easily was the mos hilarious one).
Only question characterwise that remains is just who and what is Crea?

So what to say about the plot, somehow it made sense but after really thinking about it it doesnt, or does it? I dont know it makes my brain hurt thinking to hard about it and I guess its better like this ^^
The one thing I didnt understand is why the poeple of Altair started to abduct women without even trying to solve it peacefully. But thats probably a sign of human nature "If I want it I have to fight for it".

Rating this is hard too, but I guess I will go with an 8/10 and maybe someday I will watch the prequel to this.

YESSSS! I was so happy when I saw that she won't end up forever alone I actually didn't even consider the possibility of the two of them as a pair until they officially met. From the little bit we saw of them together, I'd say they have some chemistry
I was actually hoping to see more of them together, instead of seeing Mykage being absorbed by Fudo .................. I know it is more relevant to the plot since we finally know Fudo's identity, but give me moar Zess x Kagura moments!

If I could sum up Amata's character in one word it would be average. I did think they were going to fuse Amata and Kagura together again, but their personalities have diverged so much that they are like completely separate individuals now. I don't know how it would have worked if they had gone that route.
I did think of Kagura as being a manifestation of Amata's "id," so maybe he will go through life without that instinctual animalistic part of himself.

I really liked Yunoha and Jin too, they were an adorable couple. My favourite couple was Shrade and Cayenne, I loved how Shrade's song touched Cayenne's heart even after he was deceased. Brings a tear to my eye... "for my friend...."
As for Mix, I like to think that she reverted to her original body instead of being a futanari

In the end I gave this show a 7/10, though I was tempted to give it an 8 I felt it didn't match up to the other 8's I have on my list. This was really goofy and over the top, but I really enjoyed it for that reason. I didn't know what to expect and sometimes it managed to be unpredictable in the most ridiculous ways. The animation and music were both superb too, with that in mind I want to give it a 7.5... too bad MAL won't allow it

If that did happen, I'm pretty sure the show would have gone off a significant deep end. I don't know why, but I think Kagura and Zessica would make an interesting pair.

I dunno, Amata is a typical anime lead I think. I'm still a bit disappointed that him and Kagura didn't get fused back together.

A lot of futanari and yaoi doujins for this show for sure. I would personally rather see a Yunoha and Jin doujin though. Easily the best couple of the series. Amata is a complete joke of a character and Kagura is psychopathic, which makes it uninteresting.
