Saint Beast (セイント・ビースト) is a fictional Japanese action/fantasy story created by Arisugawa Kei centering around gods, guardian angels, animal spirits, and magic.

Saint Beast is originally a CD drama centering on the lives of the six Holy Beasts, and their attraction to one another. Seeing the CD Drama being a huge success and spawning over 20 CDs, Wonderfarm created the small 6 episode series for fan service. As of 2005 two new OVAs were made, but this time they focused on what had happened back in the heavens. Recently in the early 2006, a new side story of Saint Beast called Saint Beast:Others was started. And the first CD drama will be released on September 21 2006. In 2007, Saint Beast will have another series called "Saint Beast - Kouin Jojishi Tenshi Tan".

Plot Summary of Original TV series: -

The seal which was imprisoning the fallen angels, Kirin no Yuda and Houou no Ruka, is broken and the two decide to get revenge on the God who had cast them to Hell by getting rid of the Heavens that had once been their home. Soon the guardian angels on Earth begin disappearing, and no one in Heaven can explain the happenings. But there is a sense of a vengeful animal spirit at work, and so the four Saint Beasts are called upon to investigate.

The 4 Gods of Beasts attempt to rescue the guardian angels, as well as to find out what this evil animal spirit is...

I'm really looking forward to this anime.................I suggest you guys watch the original 6-episode TV series and the 2 OVAs before watching this when it comes out.

im just going to watch the latest ep and then deleting the lot.
Every time I watch it, I keep looking when it is going to finish.
Sure the angels are all hot but hotness can only take you so far.

With a crap plot, this series completely crumbles.

the angles are really stupid IMO

This anime shows hints of homo-sexuality (although the angels have no gender, but the anime itself hints the very notion). I for one cannot handle these animes. I love girl-on-girl stuff, but this is just too much. Watched the first episode, deleted the rest. Worse anime ever.

it seems to me this new versioon of saint beasts is set b4 the first series and ova.
Gotta love those nosebleeds!

(tiny possible spoiler)

I gotta say i think the power over turtles is the best just for the randomness. It fits his personality though. Even if its isnt as cool as power over cats birds, snakes or canines

Can anyone give me a brief synopsis of what is actually going on in this series? I haven't been keeping up with this series as it hasn't entertained me much and because of school work. I've only watched the first 2 and then stopped. If someone is able to pique my interest in this series from anything that happens later on in this series, let me know. Otherwise, more space on my hard drive

Hi all, nice to meet U. This is my first post and I'm serach 'Saint beast' on this forum. ^^

I saw saint beast from the first series at 2003. I knew them when read Indonesian anime magazine which only give snapshot about them and I fall in love with genbu no Shin at the first sight

Its confusing me since the time line is not ascending but descending. The latest series explain what happen in OVA 2005.

And OVA 2005 explain the 6 eps series. T___T

I dont have OVA 2005 first episode. T___T I want to have it. Does anybody have it? Or it already lisence. Now I try to read license thread.

*sigh* Saint Beasts are back. Go and Ruka are so sexy!!
I watched the 6 ep and fell in love with them. Never could find the OVAs and the Others. Glad there is a new set i'm able to get. Should anyone know where I can get Others and the OVA please let me know.
Currently getting the first ep of this new set now. I can't wait

..OK!

Just watched the first episode of this new series.... and i have to say.... theres wasn't enough of a plot leakage in the first Episode...

One more thing...for those who've seen this... have you all noticed that there are no Females... except a mention of the "Goddess" ... ?!?!


All and all, wouldn't mind seeing where this goes, seeing as the Angles have no idea of certain Humans things... like Gai's knowledge of Weddings.... Anyone else have anything to say?

Captain, I think that you really ask for it!
As I can remember Saint beast is Shonen-ai! Actually I double-checked in case I didn`t catch the name correctly but there is no doubt about it.
