I believe I have food poison and probably got it when eating the late kebab take-out that I was unable to finish.....its small and I couldn't finish it.

Rule #1 never eat stuff that you don't like, don't seem to be able to finish, that looks and/or smells bad. Rule #2: get a stronger stomach

I always thought that the most curious thing about this series was the mood change, it getting pretty grave and serious after a few light-hearted episodes, despite being about grade-school kids (a rarity these days, too).

Can't say much else other than this series is in my top 10. Hard to believe you managed to ignore it for so damn long. It was pretty much the best show of its year. Also, get the OP/ED single, the extra song on that disk is really good.

I just finished it and I'm glad I marathoned it. I think I got teary-eyed on a couple of episode today (ep 18 to 26.....what I watched it today) but that could be also to the fact that I'm currently really sick, that I couldn't attend uni today. I believe I have food poison and probably got it when eating the late kebab take-out that I was unable to finish.....its small and I couldn't finish it. The next thing I know I'm vomitting in the bathroom. I still feel very sick and dizzy.

Anyways, this series was really really good and surprised me many times whilst watching it such as the twists that I really didn't see coming.

The series finished with a happy and perhaps a slightly bittersweet ending. Unfortunate that Isako went back to her hometown but at the end she admitted Yasako was a companion on the same path as her when she got lost......a little ~tsundere~ if you ask me with the whole I won't admit being friends with you.

Yasako was a little evil in her last school with ignoring the Mayumi who she befriended and I'm kinda glad that Mayumi said she wouldn't help her......Yasako had to pay the price after all.

Sosuke is on the loose.....I'm guessing he will be arrested once captured. I can understand his feelings but his methods were cruel and ruthless.

DaichixFumie.....lol....the pic of them together at the first day of Middle School was sweet.

You know I actually was greatly annoyed with Isako's character even after finding out that she was doing it all for her "brother" (before we actually find out that was just an image and that died...blah blah) but towards the series she started opening up to Yasako and was somewhat "kinder" and not as manipulative as she was protrayed at the earlier episodes of the series.

R.I.P. Densuke, such a cool, loyal and virtual dog.

I'm giving this series a rating of 9/10.

For all that is holy, don't rush watching the series. Watch it slowly, let it soak it... And hold on to your pants lest they be blown off. The anime didn't win an award for best sci-fi writing that year for nothing.

I am NOT going to READ those spoilers. I've always wanted to watch this series but I always got distracted with something else and over time, I just kinda forget about it but I always get reminded that I have to watch this series whenever I download stuff from lolipower.

So I started today and the first thing I saw was the breathtakingly loss-for-words OP.........it was that good. The actual series is pretty addictive in my opinion, it had wonderful pacing set in this futuristic world. The themes of the show surprised me as well, it takes more of a mature approach.

I've seen up to episode 03 and I think I'll finish marathoning this series on Thursday I think.

well they didn't go to much into the details of the relationship between yasako n haraken. man but the turn of events, on episode 26 i was like wow y'all.
the fact that isako was the one who was suppose to say goodbye to 4423 was wierd. but she was shocked at what yasako did. then the thing between them made michiko-san was ultra wierd. then souske wanted to get rid of yasako so that isako can stay traped there n he can get his revenge. then yasako takes a trip on her memories n finds out that she met her granpa as a null. the fact that he told her to forget everythin n that he gave her the lock for densuke. too bad densuke only was able to say goodbye to her. also the fact that isako was the patient at the room 4423. sad that she found out her brother died in the crash. all her eforts where just to help souske get his revenge. then his brother betrays him, an it's the end of that loooooser. then when they densuke without having there glasses on was cool. they both got happy, and isako consideres yasako a comrad(friend but she doesn't want to admit it)
i give this show a 9 and it will be my third fav series of 2007, latez

I generally think this was one of the best anime in 2007...The way they explained the concepts also seemed like some of the things they were talking about may end up happening, like the glasses for everyday common use I can definitely see happening within my lifetime.

I can definitely see the glasses becoming something of a reality. Not to a grand scale like a city, but perhaps more for a room or a building. And yes, one of the best anime of 2007 without a doubt. After watching the last episode I was left feeling kind of empty. I wanted another one to come out.

I will set aside a day to re-watch the series in its entirety, since I'm pretty sure I forgot a lot of the early plot lines and information. Going to push this series onto a few friends of mine as well.

I generally think this was one of the best anime in 2007. The animation throughout the series was always amazing, especially near the end of the series with those cyber-battles and all those wonderful effects related to the cyber world. The way they explained the concepts also seemed like some of the things they were talking about may end up happening, like the glasses for everyday common use I can definitely see happening within my lifetime. Overall, the series started off kind of slow and without any real direction, but near the end it really took off once they brought in the Nuru/Null/Human-shaped illegals; those things never ceased to creep the hell out of me! o.o
