I just finished watching the first 13 episodes and now its time to watch the 3 OVA episodes (aka eps 14 to 16).

Excelent series that kept me entertained the whole way through....it was enjoyable as I was guessing who the Rail Tracer was and my guess was right....its Vino lolz. It really did keep me at the edge of my seat as I tried to find out whats gonna happen next. I also liked how they executed the romance aspects of this series and I'm getting all giddy over the Durarara!! anime adaption thats from the same creators of the anime series and same author of Baccano!......Durarara!! apparently focuses heavily on twisted romance.

Awesome series and the light novel series is still on-going.....so I'm sat here wondering when will get MORE BACCANO! !?!?!!?

This is definitely 10/10..........lolz as the week ends and as my MEGA-MARATHON draws nearer to its end......only need to the Baccano! OVAs and 11 episodes of Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. This has been a great week for me.

EDIT:

I just watched all 3 episodes of the OVA. I liked the 2nd episode the most because it focused more on the relationship between Jacuzzi and Nice, which was cute and I really liked the scene in the TV series when Nice gets all embarrassed when Jacuzzi kisses her for the first time......ahhhh, that was such a kawaii moment. Also, I liked the newly introduced character, Graham Specter, who is pretty much a secondary character in the Baccano! series but he reminds me of a mix between Ladd Russo (another main character from Baccano) and Viral from TTGL.

Ahhhhhhhhhh......I want more Baccano! and I really can't wait for Durarara!!.........I wonder if Vamp! will get an anime adaption in the future.

I want a 2nd season!!!! XD

Very nice. One of the best series in recent times has just been licensed by Funimation. I can't wait to see how they do with this as I feel there is a high chance I'll buy it once the full season boxset gets released.

I just finished watching this series and it was absolutely brilliant. This was like the ideal anime that I had never seen before. I loved the 1930's setting where most of the story took place. The characters where bordering on genius. I had to update my top 10 favorite character list recently and added the sinister Ladd Russo. Kill, kill, kill and do it in style (The white suits, fantastic! lol) haha his passion for it was beyond warped.

Issac and Miria were probably one of, if not he best, comedy duo I have seen in anime. The ending scene, w/them in 2001, in hippie type outfits (Issac's fake fro XD), just realizing they hadn't aged in over 70 something yrs. was priceless lmao. Though when exactly did they become immortal? Anyways, I could write about this anime for hours but I'll save the board space lol. It's on to the OVA's, well as soon as I can get my greedy Baccano lovin hands passionately wrapped around them.

Baccano! was an excellent series, and I think the OVAs provided a much better ending than episode 13.

wow, these baccano OVAs really aren't that bad as far as OVA's go. I mean, the elfen lied OVA was just death. But these ones are pretty cool. They're quite a bit... indulgent, but it's to be expected, I suppose.

but dang, a 2nd season would be SOOO sweet! random OVA's are cool too, though.

...have a great day everyone!

Just got 14 and 15.. hope they do the rest of the show justice.

Found out there is a light novel of Baccano and quite a lot of stories. Pity it isn't all translated.

The light novel is much better than the anime though lol... the intelligence agency had barely any part in the original story. It actually had a narrator speaking from the future.

I should be watching the OVA's. I guess I just tried to wait for Ayu to catch up, who are up to 07 btw.

So happy that BSS decided to sub the OVAs. Only 1 more left to do. Loved the 2nd OVA though cause it focused a lot on Jacuzzi and Nice's group and they were some of my favorites. Also get to see the Rail Tracer again, which I wasn't expecting, especially when he just walks up to Czes and Rachel as if nothing had happened on the train.

But why did it have to stop where it did?! I thought I was gonna get to see some action from Rail Tracer, but then the ep just ends. Can't wait for that last OVA.

Barbo....don't worry, they are going to do it really soon. At the moment, they are re-releasing the series of Baccano using the DVD rips this time and they are up to episode 06. So, when they have finished off the re-release of the TV series episodes....they'll start subbing and releasing the OVA episodes.

So in other words it's gonna be a while. Well I'll just have to be patient, especially since Baccano! is one of the few series I'm actually bothering to download the DVD versions to replace the tv versions.

Does anyone know if anyone plans to actually sub the Baccano! OVAs? Episode 14 has been out for almost a month so far. I checked Ayu's page since they subbed Baccano! and they don't have any mention of the OVAs.
