Hmm, I haven’t managed to find a summary for this one, but it seems to involve normal schoolgirls who meet up with two strange chibi-witches/mahou shoujo. Some of the people who worked on Venus Versus Virus are also involved in this one, and I’m suspecting that this will be another one of those cute slice-of-life series.

Noob's description:

This serie is about a short creature (female-- short creatures in japs = chibi) who opens the gates of heaven upon the refrigerator of a boy named Sunao. She gets pregnant at the end and her child bites her head. That is all.

Err, just found that there's a RAW of Potemayo Special #6 on the AniRena-Tracker.
DLing it now to seed for the Subbers then.

potemayos kid is plain ugly.... uhhhhh.

As for a second season.... I doubt it. They wouldnt be making ovas, if they intended to make another season.

You're right there on the existence of Special #6. It's posted on wikipedia.

I guess Special #6 would be the end of it then. So far I think I prefer the Special where Pote-chan went to the fastfood restaurant to buy bread for Sunao the best. (Where the hell did she get the money to buy that much stuff?)

I really didn't know there was even such a thing called Potemayo Salad.

Well, just seen Special #5, and they put an "To be continued" at the end, so there should be a #6.
Currently, i'm thinking, that this is turning out to be more of a Second season, than a bunch of Specials, since 5-6 after the S1 is quite much.

So far, My hopes are up for Pote-Chan, and I'll be waiting for the next!

There is an underlying imbalance of partiality in the series when it comes to portrayed images of the characters. I am talking of course about the way Mikan is depicted having ridiculous fantasies about Sunao and then becoming so overwhelmed by her self-made images she either faints, gets flustered, or gets a nosebleed. In most anime I have watched, when a male character is having fantasies and getting nosebleeds from them--even when the fantasies are not perverted, though it may be humorous, it is considered creepy nonetheless. However, when a girl like Mikan does it, it comes across as slightly adorable in addition to being even funnier, but not creepy like the guys are portrayed. Doesn't it seem like the guys are kinda getting the shaft here? hmmm.

Special #3 is out!
we see how Potemayo influenced a Woman, becoming more familiar with small creatures, and finally making her getting a guy from a shop as her Boyfriend.
So far, it's really nice to see Pote-chans influence on other people around her.
Actually, I'm wondering, how much more Specials were coming, since we already got 3 now.
Also this Episode shows Pote-chan in her usual way and still very cute.

Ah, just a little time after the Last Episode, i already gave up on seeing more of this Series, sniff.

Well, the outcomew was quite interesting Muto might get to get his own Potemayo now, since there are now several of her .

Well, if they're doing a second season, i hope to see them doing more funny stuff, like Pote's waterfall-attacks, >Gaaah< they always made me laugh about Pote-chan, especially the Scary-Face-Scene and the Skin-on-Skin-Scene(anyone that watched this Anime knows what i mean).

As it goes for this Anime, i can't see a problem for it to get Licensed, as it doesn't show anything indecent(at least in my opinion).

i saw the special 1 like 5 mins ago, and its totally hilarious. its like 2000x of the awesomeness* (*got that word from zpl0vr ) i havent seen the rest of the episodes. ive seen ep 1-3 when i begged daft to stream this at ts. its priceless. lol

sunao got it all wrong when he was talking to natsu's brother. the brother said "nakube" . i was laughing so hard. (the sound of the elephant was a plus)

The show really does leave a lot open ended especially on the relationships of each of the characters not really fully brought out But I would really love to see a second season, if not a few OAV episodes
