Twenty years from now, in early summer at Amizawa Village...

18-year-old Ebihara Chinami emits electrical waves when she becomes distressed. Due to this, she cannot use electronics such as PCs and cellphones very well. Her power is so strong that it nearly crashed the plane her family was on by causing instrument malfunctions.

Her power leads her to transfer schools frequently. As usual, on the first day of school, Chinami is a little nervous, causing her classmates' cellphones to glitch and electronics to react to her.

The more nervous she becomes, the worse the situation gets, so she begins to take notes on where and how badly the electronics react to her.
She eventually meets Kotaro from the science club, who is interested in experimenting on her; Yumi, a classmate and shrine maiden with the same power as she; and Sonomi. They refer to the power as "TYPE-E."

What they don't know is that a secret organization is after Chinami's power.

There will be a moment when many lives will be saved by Chinami’s power. However, at the same time, someone will be watching her...

saw that barely today on crunchyroll, By the looks of it theymight justleave out a lot of stuff and some questions un-answered. This one is goin to be a bit different from the first series. It looks like it might have a lot of action, can't wait for it. So when will it be expected to be released, is it around Fall or winter?

If you look in the Summer Season thread you can see that Mission-E will begin airing July 7th.

"Psychic buddy action" anime series to premiere in Japan in July

The Japanese distributor avex entertainment has launched the official website for Mission-E, the "psychic buddy action" sequel to the CODE-E comedy anime series, with a promotional video. The story continues with CODE-E's main female lead Chinami (Mai Hashimoto) joining forces with a new main lead Maori (Yuuna Inamura). The series was first announced in October and named late last month. It will premiere this July on Japan's TV Saitama and other broadcasting stations.

I finished up the first series some time ago. I didn't rate it great and it was more of a one-time airing then maybe I'll re-watch it if I finish everything else up that I haven't touched yet. I, like many previous posters wasn't too happy with the way things turned out with the first season. Perhaps with this second season coming about things will be cleared up one way or another. The video launched with the site gives definitely gives a more action feel to the upcoming series. Perhaps they'll combine action with a detective/mystery theme and dive into the questions still left unanswered.

Big news for Code-E fans:

"Code-E Anime's Second Season Announced

The combined mini-concert and meet-and-greet event marked the debut single of B.B. Hey thanks Kit, that is good news. First season came to an end much too soon with a bunch of loose ends to put it mildly. It seems that we were just introduced to a lot of the main characters and never got to know their fates or anything past an introduction even. No follow up to this would indeed be strange.
