ok guyz the reason why hes able to dunk over those tall aliens is because hes also a alien if u watched u would know and slam dunk doesnt have a better drawing style tha this this one looks way cooler than slam dunk and i do admit that slam dunk was good but i wont say it was the best ive seen

what a great ending...im glad that he keep that horn of him.
but man...i wanna see him playing with his matured goran's ability.
hope they will continue this anime soon

I don't think there will be a third season since supposely the manga ended about the same place (haven't read it myself..) But I'm hopeing for a OVA or three I just have to see a game between the three best goran players Mr. Yellow, Mr.Red and Mr. Blue

Okey supposely ep 9-11 is out and subbed, but where can I find them? I watch 1-8 on veoh, but no new episodes seems to be uploaded there at the moment.

geezes you all are so mean and most of you haven't even watched this. I love the show. It's addicting and the art is actually decent. Some of the basketball animation is a bit odd but they did a good job with it.

just watch it before you knock it wow.

...... i dont think dear boys was that bad (im a guy n not gay lol) i just think its not worth subbing thats all, but has for seeing it on TV if u got nothing else to watch, then it surely is aceptable under those terms. well what i mean is just that, i know you cant compare dear boys to slam dunk, since dear boys isnt nearly has tecnical has slam dunk but still i dont think its "thaaaaaaaaat" bad lol

has for this buzzer anime.... i guess i wont watch it after you guys wrote all of this lol, havent seen the first season either anyway.

Well as you can see its really not realistic but if you manage to understand the story its some kind of cool! If they only make hideyoshi tall and no girls allowed, it will make buzzer beater more interesting! hmmm.. when will episode 6 be release.

This like some kinda POT!

This really isn't a remake, it's more of a continuation of the 2005 version of Buzzer Beater. As for how bad it is, or how unrealistic. It's intergalactic basketball, and you're complaining about a 5'6'' kid dunking on a 6'9'' alien... I don't quite remember accurately but if I'm not mistaken Muggsy Bogues in the NBA was of similar height, and I think he was able to dunk, realistically probably not OVER people... but this is a sci-fi sports anime... it's really not that bad.

I like this show despite what everyone says! ^___^ I'll like to decide for myself if the anime is bad or good, not based on what other say. It all depends on personal preferences. I also like the drawing style too! It's unique!



Also about the 5'6" kid dunking on a 6' 9" alien! ^__^ I found that kinda cool! Well of course it isn't realistic but isn't that what makes things cool. Watching things you know could never happen in real life? Anyhow don't be afraid! Watch it and see what you think! If you like it, HOORAY!!! If not, MOVE ON!

Okay.......its not a remake but actually a 2nd season and my reason for knowing why is from reading the Saizen Fansub site that has released the 1st episode of Buzzer Beater (2007).

Here: -

"First off, the release of the debut episode for Buzzer Beater 2007. Become reacquainted with Hideyoshi and Co. again as they try to conquer the Intergalactic League and prove that humans can ball too. One thing you might notice between the first run and this run in our subs is that we've changed "tono" to "boss" for the show. In a rare occurence, all our translators seemed to agree on it, just thought I'd let everyone know, in case anyone wondered. This episode starts off where the series' first run leaves off with Hideyoshi disappointed after losing to Julius and the Sonics. How will the Earth Team respond? Will Hideyoshi become a starter any time soon? Get it quick and check out the ongoing Buzzer Beater saga."
