Although I had high expectations after watching first few episodes, despite having some very, very good moments, the whole series left me with a feeling that the creators have abandoned this show at some point.
"The Unseen World is however undergoing a change, with its ghosts starting to appear in the real world, altering it in unpredictable ways." (taken from ANN) so what the heck happened to the unpredictability? In the end, the only thing that surprised me was it's commonness. All the evil that they have introduced in the first half of the series ended in more or less three 'construction workers'.
Were the creators forbidden to confront the characters with the true human maliciousness face-to-face? Most likely if they have gone to some onsen instead of rescuing the poor World without a slightest idea of what they are actually doing, the story would still somehow conclude itself. Not even fireworks, only some good'n'old happy ending that should make everyone happy. Well, unfortunately, it didn't make me happy at all.
