Night Wizard. A term given to those whose mission is to protect the world from impending darkness. Renji Hiiragi is one such Night Wizard, who is constantly called on missions, even though all he wants is to be able to go to school and graduate. However, his latest order was to protect Elis Shiho, who is a new transfer student at his academy. Being dragged into the Astronomy Club by Renji's childhood friend, Kureha Akabane on her first day at school, Elis soon realises that she too, has the power to become a night wizard, after possessing one of seven secret Jewels, the Jewel of Kindness. Along with Renji and Kureha, Elis now begins her fight and her new life, as a Night Wizard

this was a funny show with action wrapped in a tuna sea weed roll(o.o) don't know why i said that? it's finaly over, but it was to quick. i guess another war will continue since bell is still at large or who knows. can't belive that alice was a clone of a girl who died along time ago. sad the way she finds out everything, bu the fact that she has a demon lord in her is just wow. so that's why that one dude killed that imulator when she saw what was actually inside alice's head. i knew that he was no good as soon as they introduced him. anywho, good ending, bit of loose ends. latez...

I finally finished watching the series today (it's going to take me a while to catch up to all the ones finishing!) and I thought it had a really strong ending. It had a bit of everything; good battle sequences, warm fuzzy relationships, humor, and big plot twists. The ending was very funny, too, with Hiiragi flying up in 'beam me up Scotty' mode.

I did like how the plot became more complicated, even if I could have used a bit more explanation.  As in, how was Elis made?  If she was a doll, or a container for Symaral, was she supposed to be human?  (That plot device about giving your creations false memories gets a lot of play, doesn't it.)  And what happens in the Internal world, and why was Bell Zephyr so antagonistic?  Just things I'm sort of curious about.

So far I've been pretty happy with how several of my favorite series are wrapping up, this one included.

Hmm...you are referring to NW here aren't you? If you are then no, there hasn't been anything like that in this series.

Well I'd had 3 episodes of NW held up and I finally got around to watching them! I have to say, the last 2 episodes kicked butt! They were so awesome! Especially ep10 where we find out that Elis is Syaimaral. What a twist, that honestly caught me by surprise. We finally get to the main storyline after what I think of as capturing the 7 jewels as more of filler episodes. I've come to love this series now because the plot honestly caught me by surprise, oh the irony of the story is just great. Beautiful, very impressed.

Did anyone notice a huge drop in character animation quality in episode 10? It is almost as if they didn't have enough time to finish the episode and just released it as it is now with unfinished character animation. It looks like they took drawings and animated them.

The backgrounds are so rich and detailed and yet the characters look so rushed.

The animation seems to get a little better near the end and then returns to the rushed character animations.

EDIT: Problem fixed in V2 encode. As I stated in a different section: How the hell did they let that huge of a problem go unnoticed?

Wow, epiosde 9 is very good too, in fact Bell-sama kicks major good people but, and blows a hugh hole in Anzelotte's weird like castle, she is totally owning the battlefield, but becuase of the riochet of Red girl hair's (Akari) blast, Bell-sama lost the jewel,Hiiragi then grabed it and then threw it to little cute Elis, who now has all 7 jewels and then here the super twist turns all red and does a super psyio mode and blasts a huge beam that wipes out part of the rings layers of the planet, which supries everyone including bell-sama with the exception of Kithiro(that brown hair stoned boy), at the same time lion (bell-sama assiant) goes into a panic-attack since this was not in her book, and gets more scaried since she has no idea of how to reponse to bell-sama futher questions, eventually elis reconiges Hiiragi, and goes back to her normal calm self, with then a terrified look on her face after seeing what she (elis) has done!!

so it looks like as of now elis is really the major bad ass enemy since it hard as of right now of something else that is even more powerfull than even that state of exsitance!!! of couse the writers can always messed with us and change everything around by the time episode 10 airs!!! but finally the action finally reached the next level!!!!
