Don't believe everything you read on Sankaku. Besides, what it sounds like is Minami-ke's manga will have a sequel after this one ends.

S2 was OK but had a few bloopers... S3 was horrendous, I can't believe you didn't notice the huge drop in quality. It regularly features in the Sankaku's "animation fail" category, not w/o a reason. It looks like it was drawn by a 3-year old, not to even mention other minor stuff like lack of BG details etc.

Thats weird.

I thought the animation for the season 2 and 3 was good and frankly speaking I don't remember the animation of the first season despite it being only a few days since I finished watching it.

Okies, let me give my score for season 2 and it is a slightly lower score than season 1, I'm giving it a rating of 7.8/10, which you can then round up to 8/10.

Season 3 in my eyes was great fun and there were many times where I would rewind the scene and watch it several times. I absolutely loved season 3. Hence, this season will get the highest rating out of the series, which is 8.5/10.

I'll probably watch the Betsubara OAD later today and I now seriously hope for a season 4 or I will have to start reading the manga again, I remember reading a few chapters of it several years ago.

I hope we'll be spared. Frankly, I doubt I wanna see anything animated by Asread again. You're right, S2 wasn't bad but went in a different direction, which I personally didn't like (since I care not for corny school romances). S3 was a bit better on the content (albeit still with some jokes as cold as they come), but the animators were likely drawing with their feet (or w/e other parts of body other than hands). Or maybe their hands grow from a wrong spot, like the buttocks. Or something. But that was too cruel a slaughter of the series to watch.

I finished the 1st season of Minami-Ke by Daume yesterday and started the 2nd season, I've watched up to episode 07 so far and will continue after the Arsenal-Barca CL 2nd leg match. A lot of people have complained and just said how awful season 2 is to season 1 but I think its a bit of an over-reaction by many, I reckon season 2 is still pretty funny but probably not as much as season 1. In season 2, I occasionally think that Haruka is one hell of a b*tch. Also, I would like to point out that season 2 is considered almost entirely FILLER and season 3 returns to the manga material or so I've heard. Hence, Fuyuki is an anime-original character created for season 2 but I don't know if he's still included in season 3 yet.

If I wanted to....I might actually finish off season 3 and the OAD by tomorrow but with a Man U match happening, I think it will take me till Thursday before approaching another anime.

Season 1 gets a 8/10 from me and season 2 has a very similar score from me at the moment, the remaining episodes will either change or keep the score.

As for season 4 of Minami-Ke, it can be done and most likely will fall in the hands of Asread (the guys behind Shuffle and Season 2 and 3 of Minami-Ke including the OAD). The reasons I'm saying that it can be done is because the first 3 seasons of the anime have used up 68 chapters worth of manga material according to manga-updates and currently there are 134 RAW manga chapters released. Another, thing to consider is that, Asread's next anime project is the horror-mystery anime, Shiki, who's original creator is Fuyumi Ono (the author of 12 Kingdoms and Ghost Hunt), the anime starts July 2010. Hopefully, we will get a season 4 and as for when it will come out, probably 2011.......I like this series and for me there's nothing wrong for continuing it.

The "ke" one sounds like it starts with "ne" though.

EDIT: Ah, that's just the default line when there isn't one for that syllable then.
