Wow! So I finally finished up the last 4 eps (yeah, I got distracted by all the new spring series) and while I was sad to see it end, it was a pretty satisfying finish. It was well worth sitting through the stand-alone, simpler mysteries early-on just to see Yako's personal mystery develop into that last "South American" story arc; it was quite compelling and tied in well with the clues dropped throughout the earlier episodes. Although I would've liked to have learned more about which was a very interesting twist!

Even though it's left open for a second series, it doesn't necessarily cry out for one like some series do. We're left .

Just finished the last episode and I have to say it turned out to be a pretty good show in the end. For the first half it was filled with easy and ridiculous mysteries, with only the back and forth between Yako and Neuro to hold it together. Once they got to Sai things started to get better and then once we got to the whole incident with HAL, it was the first time I was ever really excited about watching the next episode. Luckily it came off that with another larger arc instead of another single episode mystery and rode that till the end. In the end I'm very happy I stayed with it and followed through to the end.

Just one more episode to go:D!!! can't wait, but I really do hope there's a second season... haven't read the manga yet (gonna start on that nowXD) but does anyone know if there's potential for a second season????

I wonder whats going on with Neuro. He still ahven't recovered from his fight with HAL

I'm really enjoying this series even though the mysteries aren't hard to solve

Episode 15 (the Loch Ness Monster episode): The former geology nerd in me seriously guffawed when Neuro

Anyhoo, I'm starting my friends on this series as a little light-viewing ("light" as in, most of the mysteries are not complex, as has been said before; the interest comes from the character interactions-- and there was much LOL-ing from them when I made them watch the first 2 eps, mostly at Neuro's degrading comments).
