absolutely loved the OVA, though it looked like to me like a second season thing though, but what the heck, still good
what i don't get is the part where original fumika was able to get hold of a shigofumi

OVA is released. It's good to see more and that this one takes place after the series instead of just fitting somewhere into the middle. Nice to see how Fumi was doing after. Not that great actually, but things are looking up for her. It has a really nice ending to the episode. Though it has been a while since I've seen the show so I did forget a lot of names, which made this episode a bit hard to follow cause it's directly tied to some previous episodes. It involves the 3 bullies that were making one other kid walk an I-beam across roofs at the school, if you remember that episode, and involved Morishita and Kikukawa, though I can't remember what happened with them originally. I think one of them was the kid I talked about before with the I-beam, but I'm not sure which.

Shigofumi is awesome.

Ah.. I wish there were more Shigofumi, it seems like it never happened. The OVA release is so far away but it's still great news.

i though that was an excellent, especially the Fumi vs. Mika "fight" near the end where they both break down crying, it was actually very cute XD.  only thing I would have liked to see was for kanaka to actually become human, but I doubt that could ever happen anyway ^^;;

Been a little while since the last post and now Shigofumi is finished. I wish it could have gone on longer cause I liked all the different short stories involved with the Shigofumi, but getting to know Fumika and who she is was great too. Kind of an emotional ending as Fumi and Mika sit there crying as they were going over all the things they wanted to do, all of which being things normal kids do.  But Mika felt that she didn't really belong in this world, that it wasn't for her to live in, since she felt she wasn't real.  That she was just someone created by Fumi.  Also she felt horrible how she put Mika into that coma/sleep after Mika shot her father.  Mika felt the only way for Mika to move on was by disappearing and leaving Fumi's life forever.  But Fumi and Mika's fight brought out the fact that Mika didn't want to disappear.  She wanted to keep living and do all the same things essentially that Fumi wanted.  Then they break down in tears and they realize Mika doesn't have to disappear for Fumi to become a stronger person.  And thus the 2 of them continue to exist as separate, but same beings I guess.  Kinda weird to think about it like that, but one was spawned from the other yet they live out separate lives, one a normal high school girl, the other a Shigofumi carrier.

I want more Shigofumi, but I know it won't happen. Mysteries and emotional drama involving Fumika are solved so not much else to go into. 9/10 for me. Kinda want to go back and watch some of the episodes again like the rocket episodes and the episode with the little girl and the man who worked for a gaming company who got cancer. I think that one might be my personal favorite. Loved how his shigofumi to her was picture he drew for her.

Watched episode 8 two days ago. Not going to spoil too much for you guys, but it pretty much explain most of the thing about Fumika...or I should say about 'Fumi' and 'Mika'? And Kaname kick @ss... beating 'a certain psychopath' to a pulp . Hope English sub for episode get released soon for you guys.

I just saw ep 7 and wow..... things are really starting to take place. Seems all the intro eps have been done and we are now moving on to the main story concerning Fumika, her past life and what she has become. I was really surprised in the begging of the episode since it seemed to be headed for another direction however when i saw that Fumkia had the honor of delivering her fathers shigofumi to him it instantly became a lot more fun watching. The way they built the suspense was very nicely done and they wrapped up the ep with an awesome cliffhanger which leaves a great aftertaste for ep 8.

It does seem like we'll be seeing the real true reasons behind Fumikas shooting of her father and maybe even some other painful memories she might have. I have to confess that I had no idea her father was alive until this latest ep, was very surprised but it honestly adds another level to this anime wich is unfolding to be much more interesting the i thought from the start.

I hope they keep at the story as they have now, it can only get better i think.
