I know of it.............but I've NEVER watched that or anything yaoi. I made a thread for a particular series and not realising that it was based on a yaoi/shounen-ai......I remember asking for it to be deleted.

JCD, LOL, I remember you watching junjou romantica... or was that some other shounen ai? Either way, I must say, that some shounen ai series do have something special, junjou sure did. I have never seen an anime which would carry across emotions so easily and so convincingly. I didnt as much watch it for the shounen ai part, but rather because I loved the bitter sweet romance from the series and the way it made me feel I was in love for the first time in my life all over again. (Currently Kimi ni todoke is making me feel in a similar way).

Anyways, I love the hardo gay character.... boy have I laughed the first time I watched him on youtube. If this angel is anything like him, I want to see that, lol

Warita ia a girl at heart and I'm sure she loves her yaoi and shounen-ai......me on the other hand can't watch it.

Searched for it, appears to be ep 5. Might wanna try giving it a chance until then and then dropping it if you can't tolerate it anymore, because he appears in other episodes as well for short periods.

Wasn't that guy supposed to be a sort of Freddie Mercury analogue, like the guy from Cromartie? His theme music was much akin to Queen's 1980 Flash Gordon theme song.

I checked out the fist 2 episodes yesterday and I understand now, what you mean by the otaku factor. Other than that, the series doesnt seem to have a plot of any kind (so far). Its just ramndom characters saying random things at random times.

In what episode does that hardo gay angel appear?

Its not loaded with references to other anime, just loaded with otaku culture. The series is nothing to take seriously ,thats for sure, just good stupid fun. Less like Zetsubou, more like Kemeko DX? Probably bad references but thats as close as I can think of.

Oh, and the robot stuff with the extremely familiar VA (can't remember who) was hilarious as well.

You would.....not exactly that much of otaku references in my opinion compared to series done by SHAFT. Enjoyable....its 12 episodes....worth your time compared to the many that came out this year.

With those episodes alone it felt like it wasn't Hard Gayo enough.

In any case this was pretty much an animal ears kind of series, along with massive cosplay and some otaku references of course. I mean who knew that gods and demons liked our stuff since they tend to get bored rather quick like.
