Wow... this gave me the warm and fuzzies all over. Sometimes, one has to go through trials and tribulations to realize what they have in someone. I hope a certain someone in my life realizes that at some point. >_> ... Anywho...

Great things here... I'd recommend that anyone who's a sucker for a love story... watch it! Watch it with someone you like! This would have been a great Valentine's Day movie... but it's okay as is... I think that it's wonderful and that everyone who hasn't seen it... better make time in their schedule for it. If I could, I'd place it in my Top 5 this week... but it's not a running thing.

GREAT MOVIE!!!

I didn't know what to expect when she slapped him, i was a bit surprised when he slapped her back!

hmm, you guys are right... this was pretty dang good; it had some truly funny parts to it, and i gotta say that i couldn't begin to imagine what i'd do in some of those situations; but yea, it was truly predictable on how all of the events turned out, but nonetheless it kept me interested... you'd think the animes of today could do the same, especially after all these years of constantly improving themselves, how are still so many "epic fail" series being made

Well it may be old but Studio Gibli is known for movies that have lasting value. I thought this would be quite aboring anime before I started watching but even though the plot is fairly simple and predictable I found I really enjoyed this love story.
It's a boy meets girl, girl gets boy in trouble again and and again and again, girl gets in trouble herself, boy gets mad at girl, boy finally realises he's been in love with her from the start

I watched this movie and honestly, it is one of my favorites. Do not worry about being a sad movie or a depressing one, it is a very cute and romantic movie with a fair bit of drama. One of the reasons this is one of the less known movies from Ghibli it's because the main characters aren't a young girl and a boy, but rather two teenagers with conflicts and passions.
So don't expect watching magical animals, flying ships or talking cats, because this one is a rather more mature movie than the rest of Ghibli productions.
I strongly recommend you to watch it. Trust me, you're going to enjoy it!

i'm not going to fancy this topic up with pics, descriptions ect (anyone is welcome to though); its just i saw that this OLD movie was subbed and put up here so i'd like some thoughts on it (the movie, not why its on this site ) i myself haven't watched it yet but i will later tonight... and i'll comment on it then, the storyline had me interested... hopefully it doesn't turn out to be another 5 cm per sec... i really don't want to feel down for half a day
