For some perverse reason they short the Nodame fans. The first series was 23 instead of 24-26 eps. the second was 11 instead of 12-13 eps. Both series set ratings records for their time slots. Somebody is cheap! Cut loose with the purse strings. The mangaka is still writing/drawing Nodame Cantabile so there should be enough for at least another 13 eps.

ok...I'm a reatard. I finished ep 11 the second it came out and I've been waiting for ep 12 to come out for ageeees. Now, checking this page I just realized that...that was the last episode!!!!! TT_TT anyone out there craving for a 3rd season like me?

finally i had time to watch the last episode. And again i must say i like this series . Nodame, Chiaki, Kuroki and Tanya really made these two last episodes the best ones. I hope that a third season really comes and hopefully this time with a new chapter in japan (like visiting nodame's and chiaki's family..i wonder what would happen if the two families would meet, and maybe a chance to show nodame and chiaki performing together (like on their wedding or something ).) and maybe a small chapter with Kuroki and Tanya. I didn't really like them in the beginning of the series but now i would love to see how their relationship develops.

A third series has been green lighted probably for fall. No info on no. of episodes. A continuous series is doubful, but be happy,there will be more.The mangaka is back at work on her manga and I'm sure the same seiyuu will return

omg I don't know what to say after seeing ep11 - -

I wonder if there'll be a continous series after this?

This morning ANN reported that ep 9 of Nodame Cantabile Paris Hen was the highest rated late night show ever. Mainichi Shinbun ( newspaper) said it had a 6.6 rating against the old record of 5.8. Congrats to all who made the show. Now get busy and make more!

Okay, I reassess my opinion of this season. It was GREAT. I honestly still think that the first three episodes aren't up to snuff, but things really started soaring from episode 4 onward. I do hope though that Chiaki stops smacking down his girlfriend whenever she wants a kiss. Really now...
