So no closure for us, eh? Maybe a real end will come in an OVA, movie or third season. Pretty damn disappointing to just have this episode be just a side story even if it did turn out to be a good one.

So this wasnt the ending? I thought it would be. I was really disappointed at that time.

But I still hope we will get a proper ending. Or maybe the producers dont have an idea for an real ending and will just leave it at that.

So.........wasn't the DVD episode of Shikabane Hime Kuro suppose to be the actual final episode of the show? Cause unfortunately it wasn't. Instead we get a prequel focusing on Minai when she first became a shikabane hime. By itself it was a pretty good episode, just disappointing when I was expecting an ending.

yeah i just finish watching this anime but only thing is why did it end with makina and houta fighting why the battle never finished only ended like that argh.

hope the 3 season if not then it so confusing ending

Careful as to how you put that. Episode 12 of Kuro was bad. And Gainax pulled the stunt of releasing the final episode on DVD despite saying "END" on the final episode (or the supposed final episode at least). They cliffhanged an ending and we have no knowledge if whether or not Gainax plans to conclude the series in the thirteenth episode. If they are smart, they will, but I've been hearing other rumors lately.

finnally watched episode 12.

tho its the end of the arc, the show doesnt seem to be over. but i guess there is an dvd-only episode 13 thats gunna come with 11 and 12 when there released. overall, interesting anime, good fights and such, but nuthing too spectacular.

Hulu got ahead of the fansubbers again so I watched 11 there. Great ep. though nothing too terribly surprising becasue they have been foreshadowing the fact that the 108 rule was a farce from early on, it was still extremely well done. The reasons behind Akasha turning Hokuto into a shikabnae hime, or a shichisei hime I guess, remains to be explained, if there is indeed a reason beyond just pure vengence. I'm looking forward to an awesome final battle.

i watched few episode of shikabane hime it was good i liked it problem was the episode did not appear later on so i wait until it release on dvd to buy it
