I marathoned this series over the weekend and it was an utter delight to view. I enjoyed all the characters and grew attached to them somewhat........this series is WAY BETTER than Tears to Tiara. I believe the anime has a few differences to the manga, which prompts me to read the manga from the start and not half way to know what happens after episode 25.

Alice was cute....Vincent is an evil creep and more so according to manga readers, it does some disgusting things in the manga.

The music as a whole for the series was good. I watched the DVD versions which to me didn't really look that great either compared to the TV versions. I often found that the palette for this series was too light but I believe that to be one of its creative flares.

The series reminds me of Kuroshitsuji, D.Gray-Man, Tales of the Abyss, Shana series, Fate/Stay Night, and there's loads more that I can say that there are similarities between them and Pandora Hearts.

I'm giving this a rating of 8.5-9.0/10.

So does this mean that episode 25 was the last episode? If so then for soem reason I get this feeling that the anime just caught up with the manga, and they decided to stop here since it looks like about the right place to stop for the time being.

In any case this series kind of needs to have an ending if you ask me since I kind of wonder how this will end overall.

As I thought we didnt really get an ending. And I think its better this way than some crappy ending. I mean if all would be solved in one episode it couldnt be good.

It was quite a surprise knowing that Ozs Father threw him into the Abyss. But know we know why Gil didnt want Oz to attack the Baskervilles 10 years ago.

Over all this was a very good anime, with lots of funny moments and a lot of mysters and crazy moments.
I really hope we get a secons season, but I will still read the manga until then.

The should have just named this series "Flashback" in my opinion

I just thought about it for a while and think this would have been a much better series if they just went through the actions in the flashbacks rather than them being flashbacks. I wouldn't be surprised if they spent upwards of 12 episodes in flashback mode.

Yeah I agree that the last episode was disappointing, I expected a lot more from his reunion with his father. The burst of power that destroyed Griffin in one blow seemed a bit cheesy to me. Here was the almighty Bezarius chain and it was defeated in one shot by Oz's feelings

I hope that they will continue at some point. I don't know how accurately they followed the manga in this adaptation, I might pick it up at some point. I suppose it's better that they ended it like this rather then coming up with an anime original ending (I don't usually like those ) Overall though I really enjoyed the series, I found it really exciting near the end when we got to learn more about the tragedy of Sabrié, as well as know more about Alice and Gil's past. I suspect that if Oz is a reincarnation of Jack, then maybe Elliot is a reincarnation of Glen Baskerville, since he wrote the same song as Glen: Lacie, and he has those nightmares from the tragedy.

Was ep 25 it? That was pretty dissapointing. This coulda been a lot better, but they went for the "oh we'll see if we can get a 2nd season" route.

BTW, the 2nd OST is out and its awesome. It also contains the song in the last episode that stood out so much.

Yeah I did mention that this was a twisted version a while back in this thread if my memory serves me correctly though.

Also, as for the tea party that was in episode 22/23, but it was with the the Will. Also, for some reason the Will and Alice tend to share a link with each other, but that was severed when Vincent killed Alice and gouged out Cheshire's eyes. To top it all off it seems that Vincent just wants to destroy everything because of him being insane or something like that.

Oh yeah as for the Baskervilles it seems that becuase of the mess that happened in episode 24 they are pretty much wanting to bring some sort of normality between the current world and maybe even the Abyss.

For some reason I want to predict seeing Alicie and the Will fighting over Oz on who has "ownership" over him in the later episodes.

possibly because as somebody suggested a while back, the show is like twisted psychotic version of Alice in Wonderland?
you have Alice, a a rabbit, a cheshire cat, an alternate world where everything is screwy, a fob-watch, a mad hatter, and an "evil queen" and I'm sure I saw a tea party somewhere

Well it was a supprise that Oz managed to calm down the Will like that. Although it seems like she would like to be with Oz but doesn't feel like she deserves him as of yet.

On a side note why do I want to say that the monster Alice was fighting to get another memory fragment back could be considered as the Jaberwokey form the Alice in Wonderland books?

Ep. 24 just felt weird everything else had been keeping up with manga very well I might add. However this feels like their rushing towards some ending that won't make any sense. I'd rather they leave it on a cliff hanger and wait till the manga is farther along for a 2nd season.
