Did they just do a DVD extra or something? *blinks*

I was thinking about rewatching this series yesterday, how strange.

Why would you think they did a dvd extra; did you see a new episode subbed somewhere? All I'm aware of is the original 26 episodes that finished quite some time ago. Though this is definitely one quality series; I re-watched it about six months ago and was thinking it would be all kinds of awesome if they would animate some more of the story.

I Just Sarted Guin Suga. And Was just asking any one know how many there are and if how many?

Please do a search to check if there is already a thread made for the particular anime. This post has merged into this thread. - By FTV Team

Thanks a bunch, JCD... Anyway, Sal198-san, I sent you some links as to where you can read up on all things Guin Saga. I finally got around to watching this great series not too long ago and was disappointed it was not to be continued after Guin set off for the North and Remus was placed upon the throne...so many unanswered questions...ah well. Hope the information I sent you helps.

Great ending to a great show and I REALLY hope they make a 2nd season.

It's funny how we have no real villain in the end (I don't really think of Istovan as one, he just wants to become a king and lately he has shown us that he's willing to go to great lengths to become one, but he's not an EVIL character, not by a long shot), but glad to see that there really is something to this whole "was Remus possessed or not?" thing (and yeah, that dried-up dude that Amnelis took with her in Nospheros is the same one that Rinda remembered).

Overall, it was a very fitting and conclusive end, but still leaves helluva lot to explain in the next season... if anything, I'd dare say that the real plot is just about to begin. At least I hope so.

So the first season ended. At least I hope there wont be only this season.
In the end it was very sad, especially the part with Guin and Istovan.

Wouldnt have thought that Istovan was that desperate. He lost lost my complete respect I had for him left. But it was good to see Guin giving him a nice King-Punch and one-hitting him ^^

But does someone remember how the Sorcerer Amnelis took with her into Nospherus was named? I didnt find the episode in which that was mentioned and dont know it anymore.
Im asking because I wanna know if Rinda was saying his name when she said Remus was chosen. Ok Im pretty sure it was him but still.

Amnelis grew up too, but I wonder what she can do. Having a high motivation, confidence and sense for reality is good, but she still lacks a lot of things like experience and knowledge.

btw, Guin saying "I like you" to Istovan sounded really gay -.-

Yeah him talking about evil and than looking like that was laughable XD
But it seems like he was just a pawn himself, after all he called out to someone before he died.

I dont think Istovan and Guin will become enemys. Maybe they will be wandering together now.

It has 26 eps (all out so far). So its impossible to have a real end. I think the producers will look how its gotten accepted and than maybe to a second seaon or something. At least I hope for that. It cant end now, I mean its the longest light novel series ever.

I was wondering the same thing to bring in something new like that next to the last episode. I did some investigating about "guin saga". First of all the author (Kaoru Kurimoto) has just passed away but she had done over 126 novels (she was working on the 130th but died 23 may 2009) about "guin saga" and "palace of parros" which started in 1979. (Guin Saga is the longest continuing single-writer's work in the world with total circulation exceeding 28 million worldwide - taken from wiki).

The question is will there be a second season with the author passing away this year.

Wow, this has to be the weirdest and possibly even the most out of place episode so far with that kid revealed as... what was that, some kind of demon or something? What I found funny is how he preaches that Guin is the source of all evil. But whatever it may be, that was a "WTH?" moment. And was that some kind of confrontation between Guin and Istvan that was foreshadowed in the end?

Any idea how many episodes Guin Saga will have? I ask because... damn it, I demand some answers when it comes to storyline here, don't give me a trainwreck end.
