Well I guess that was added into the PS3 version due to the fact that she never was invovled in the PC version. As for Arawn you have to understand that he's pretty much the main character of this seires that get's the girls while Arthur was the one who pretty much helps him run things.

As for Octavia there was a bit of yuriness with her, but she did have some form of respect with Arthur though, but I don't think it was as serieous as some whole of hoped.

Besides this was pretty much a European version of Utawarerumono, but with humans instead. That it it happened to be a Leaf series so most of this was more or less expected though.

OK before I completely forget about this anime that I finished last Friday, I'll add my 2 cents to this thread before I disappear.

The first half of this series was very boring, it has a slow build-up that raises a few questions and the revelations that proceed in the rest of the series are not exactly that great but rather cliched and predictable. However, I think I started enjoying this show after episode 13 or 14, I can't remember why but I just did.

The one thing I hated about this anime was ALL the girls fawning over Arawn, he may have been the demon lord but he's an over-1000 year old relic that is a resurrected undead but still all the girls just want to get into bed with him.

I think the only relationship I really liked was between Taliesin and Epona, they are a cute couple imo and its pretty much the first time I have approved of a loli to be in a proper relationship. The chemistry between the 2 is great and almost reminds me of the relationship btw Shinra and Celty of Durarara!! but I like ShinraxCelty couple better. I was really happy that Taliesin was alive......I honestly thought he died.

Oh, Arthur, I started to enjoy his presence in the anime and damn was I hoping for Octavia to fall in love with him but then again she is nothing but a lesbian b*tch. I mean she cared for Lidia and pretty much loved her in yuri-fashion but in the end decides to slice her up in the episode 11 battle ending her life......to me that kinda sucked but I've heard that Lidia's death in the game is somewhat different in the PS3 version of the game.

Anyways, I really was gonna give this series a 6.5 but it gradually got better towards the end of the series and soit gets a rating of 7.5/10 from me.

I'm marathoning this series and I just finished watching episode 06, its been good, the first episode was great but episode 2 and 3 fell short for me but then it kinda picked up again. I'm actually getting a little fustrated with all the girls putting their eyes on Arwan (or whatever u call him), for me the dude has done jack-all and is a pathetic main character so far......Arthur is annoying like Suzaku but I think he's becoming more likeable as the series goes on. I really like Octavia despite episode 06 being her debut into the series.

EDIT #1:

Reach episode 12 about 2 hours ago, currently doing some studying and this series is seriously BORING.....BORING.....BORING....6/10 so far and thats pretty low rating coming from me. The ED sounds good and the OP is pretty meh imo.

I think last episode was very good overall and I really liked the part Arthur and Arawn were flying on those dragons (to be honest, show needed more moments like those). True, I also agree that maybe it was somewhat rushed because some things were skipped or cut , but that was ultimately less interesting material that didn't make the cut. As for Arthur's transition to a king... it was alright, given how during the last 2-3 episodes he was actually coming to terms with his fate and all.

In the end, some stuff did get "sacrificed", but it was for the greater good aka. to give the show decent closure, at least better than most of these open ended or undetermined endings we see nowadays. It really felt like this part of the story had finished.

Im a bit disappointed of the last battle, no the whole ep. I think it was all solved too quickly. The fight was a joke and then he suddenly becomes king. IMO Arthur wasnt portrait as someone who would be ok with becoming king. I think he wouldve been against it.

So Ogam seems to be a special Dragon. It didnt look like the other Dragons could transform or something.

It was a good anime with a good story. Its time I play game ^^

That was really a hell of an insane villain. Even feeding himself to Merkadis. But it was great having him as an villain. I like it if the villains are like that ^^

So they let Taliesin survive, I hope we get a better explanation thant that that the dragons helped him. It sounded pretty weak.

I wonder how they will be defeating Merkadis, I have no clue at all.

Ok so pretty much they finally gotten to the battle with one of the 11 White Spirits in episode 25. It pretty much followed the idea of what was going to happen after he was defeated, or atleast cut for that matter.

So the next episode will be pretty much the final episode for the series I'll bet, and after that I'm sure some kind of OVA will eventually follow as well.

Some really nice fighting scenes in ep 24, almost more than the whole series until now together ^^

Ogam really looked awesome as Dragon, I hope we will see him again against the White Spirit.

I wonder if they have to fight all remaining 11 Spirits, or only the one we saw?
The one we saw looked a bit mad in his had ^^ But that wouldnt surprise me.

Well with episode 24, we finally come down to pretty much the final battle here. In any case it seems that they kind of mutated the Battle for Londinium, the Battle of the Caldron of Resurection, and somewhat of an actal fight that should of taken place in the beginning. Prety much I think they did that since the levels of the tower were more along the line of trash mobs that just kept on comming.

Well in game actually. It happens during the 3 rounds of the tournament on who will be mayor of Londinium. All I can say is Arwan got lucky with both of the elven maids, Llyr, and Octavia if I recall.

Also, they didn't even mention that Rathty is a girl at all throughout the series either. Although that caused the perfect excuse of an H-scene so I can understand why they cut that part out though.
