hell yeah I'll agree it's a damn waste of time that I'll never get back. It was really just an updated Sailor Moon with an Inuyasha-esque storyline, with T&A galore. the battles weren't impressive at all. mostly doujin-style, which I don't mind, but it gets boring as an Anime with all the talking and *thinking* over and over for minutes at a time, not to neglect the occasional (pointless) flashback. the thing I hate most is the battle style, as with any two characters fighting, the victor quickly becomes predictable (it's the one getting their ass BEAT) and hardly with error. what's more irritating? one-hit kills, that just ARE more powerful than the opponent even though they can easily unleash a can of whoop-ass at any given moment on our heroine. it's probably the most over-used battle system in anime - and is very predictable. at first you're like, "yeah! c'mon... get up! you can do it! YEAAHHHH!!!!" but then after the hundredth time it gets stale. which made me HATE Elina(Leina) and Reina (i guess cuz they're so lesbian) but it was really that Dragon Tail move's fault. it's like a huge, metallic, shiny fucking PINGAS.

Also, Nyx. Some of you say she was pitiful. Well, yes hell yeah she was. However, that she made such a strong start in the beginning of season 2 I thought the writers were going to develop her as, say, a "special case" so she can finally beat her old master's AZZ! of all the characters I felt she was the one that got cheated. and of all the characters, I personally think she was the one who had most potential for character growth. Including NOT relying on tentacle rape for her power. if anything I think she'd be most deserving of the Queen's Blade too, unless tentacle molestation is a crime in any of you's books. meh... i digress.

Watched the final episode....that was plain awful. There was deus ex written all over the place. One thing happened after another and it was obviously rushed. I didn't care if it was rushed or not since I never had hopes for this series, but this was god awful. I don't care if Airi came back and there's really not much to say about this series as it was bad to begin with. What a waste of time. It started out stronger than the first season, but it sure took its sweet time and there were some things that were never and never will be explained, especially the witches.

So finally watched the last ep (got sick of waiting for SFW subs) and it was pretty good.
We saw everyone again and we came to a pretty good conclusion. But I hope too that there will be a third season where they go against the Witch of the Swamps.

Over all I would give 8/10 points to the whole Queens Blade series.

@Chooie: My favorite girls are Claudette, Alleyne & Echidna.

well yeah of course ive noticed for myself that there are those who complain about what a series lacks those who dont pay attention and there are those who just enjoy whatever there is to enjoy
i just enjoyed it for what it was really

That's a pretty decent score and so that does mean this series might actually be good for some people and not for others. Hence, why these is so many split views concerning this series.

so finished watching season 2
after all that its hard to say my favorite girl
but heres my list in no particular order

aileane(no one knows exactly how thats spelled)
reina
airi
tomoe
shizuka
aldra
nyx

aileane is nice cause shes an elf a hot one but doesnt get as much screen time as some would like
reina the star of the show is strong and all but not very appealing to me i like her personality more i guess
airi is a maid ghost person whos pretty cute but then shes dead
tomoe is for obvious reasons quite nice
shizuka probably rates better cause she seems fun to be around and pretty hot
nyx is hot but rather weak minded and somehow still likes that tentacle rape staff of hers
aldra is quite evil for most of the whole 2 seasons cause of that demon guy inside her

but my favorite would go to none of them for the most part theyre pretty even
but aldra after the events of the last ep of s2 i would say is my favorite
normalish but still hot and i guess hotter than she was *thumbs up*

ecchiness and all this still managed to throw a decent storyline in and seemingly they can continue with the swamp witch thing

ill give it a 8.5/10 though

I've decided to ONLY watch the Blu-Ray or DVD versions of this entire series.....so it looks like it will be awhile before I get to season 2 as season 1 is still being subbed.

I know that this series is pretty much an boobtastic joke but I would love to have a 3rd season to this, which I sure it will since Koihime Musou is also getting a 3rd season.

Ok Kit I got good news about the last episode for ya, and that's Ari comes back.

Well from the looks of it they could do another season to give light to who or what the Swamp Witch is, but then again would anyone be looking forward to seeing a 3rd season of this borderline hentai?

I just watched the first episode of season 1 and I thought it was very very entertaining and I'm kinda shocked that I actually loved it, the ED to the first episode was brilliant (I don't think its the proper ED of season 01 though).

The only problem is that I think I'm going to have to wait for the Blu-Ray or DVD versions of the subs for season 2 and some for season 1 because I bet its a censor-fest.

I had sooooo much negative vibes concerning this series but the first episode gave me hope in this series.

Airi was really the one reason why I watched this series in the first place, because she's the only one who was actually "normal" both physically and mentally in this series
The fact that she's gone and been gone for about 3-4 episodes, now is basically making me have less motivation than I ever had....luckily it's only one episode left.

To be honest, I can't believe this series is licensed and I can't see how this will even sell in the US due to all the tight regulations. Even if they sell it as a R-17 title, it will raise eyebrows for many given to how close borderline hentai this series gets. Of course, the second season tones down on that, but there were still definitely a number of unnecessary scenes in this show.
