I finished Fairy Tail earlier today and caught up with the manga too. In the anime, I skipped episodes 125 to 150 because it was mainly filler episodes with a few things actually a part of the canon story.

This series was awesome to watch with good animation, great fan-service and the brilliant soundtrack that made your blood boiling or had you nearly let out tears, the series was really an entertaining one to experience.

I intend to go back and watch the episodes I skipped because it won't feel like I truly finished watching the anime series. I skipped them because I was impatient and I wanted to see Fairy Tail participate in the Grand Maic Games, which was truly thrilling in both the anime and manga.

This series is great in that it actually fuels the "shipping" activity I liked doing when watching an anime, like wanting certain characters being with each other and the series actually allows for these developments to occur, which doesn't happen all the time in straight-up adventure-fighting shounen mangas.

I'm giving this series a straight 10/10, despite skipping the filler arc. This series was well done n my opinion in that the fillers didn't seem too concentrated compared to the likes of Naruto and Bleach. I respect the animation studio for stopping where they did and I hope this anime returns in the future and I suspect a minimum of 3 years to get an actual TV series for Fairy Tail, though they can just as easily animate the rest of the current arc as an OVA series but I rather see it continue as a "big" anime TV series.

Well there was a filler arc in Fairy Tail right after the 7 year time skip happened, and before Natsu gained his fire-lighting combo ability. Pretty much the anime kind of shoehorned that filler arc into the series like it was supposed to happen from the getgo.

As for Breach, it had the infamous dealing odd placing fillers in the worst places. One was a filler arc that took place in the middle of the Irancar story arc, and also it was known for placing random fillers in the middle of a multipart fight scene at times which made it agrivating though.

Thanfully the studio that did Fairy Tail was smart enough to hold off on doing a filler moment since they didn't want to be like Breach and put a filler arc in the middle of a legitamate story arc.

In any case I think the manga's latest chapter might actually be hinting that the filler arc in the anime did happen though.

Lolz, I made the thread for this series. I used to read the manga (I was up to the Oración Seis arc, about Chapter 140-150) and I watched only the first few episodes of the anime, I think I stopped watching because of a random filler, I just sensed that there would be an awful lot of filler, so I dropped it, it was during times where I honestly hated fillers.

Anyways, I started watching the anime again, I restarted it yesterday and I'm up to episode 45 at the moment, I should really be up to like episode 60 though, I took 2 naps, the first nap was like 4 hours and then I watched a bit of Fairy Tail before sleeping for another 3 or so hours.

I really like the anime so far and I understand why Fairy Tail stopped because it pretty much started to catch up to the manga despite making about 50 or so episodes of fillers within the 175 episodes, which isn't as bad as animes like Naruto (I want to include Bleach too but I'm unsure of how much of it was filler, I know a lot of it was but like how many episodes). I should get up to episode 70 before I go to bed again.

Anyways, I don't expect a continuation of the anime anytime soon, maybe some filler movies here and there, spin-off versions (a la Fairy Tail X Rave) or an OVA series.

Well it looks like that the anime is going to wrap things up be epsidoe 175 it seems. My guess it might be due to the fact that the anime is catching up to the manga for a second time here and I think they don't want to do another filler arc here. Although I'm not sure if the manga is going to end either, but there is infor about the anime posted on MAL though.

The movie just confirmed why I could never get into this "wannabe sorta fun and somewhat action packed series. NOT! Too much over-the-top ridiculous goings on to stifle anyone let alone me to care. Well, I take that back as I know the FT die-hard fans care unlike a sometimey unfan like me. I only cared about the whys and whos of the beautiful and mysterious Eclair and her faithful, full of love, feather stuffed companion, Momom.
I did fast forward when the hyper fivesome gang and their two silly mascots appeared...well, I tried to anyway without trying to ruin too much of the movie.
I had to laugh when Lucy summoned up some shade wearing "I wanna look cool like Tsuna" of KHR fame to fight off some rabble at the beginning of the movie...rolled my eyes at that scene for sure!
Were it not because Eclair's story piqued my interest, I so would not have bothered. 6/10...and that's only because of Eclair and her witto companion.

Ah well...at least my hot cinnamon tea and lemon cookies were yummy.

P.S. Almost forgot! I see that laid back, dark-haired babe, who loves to bare his chest, is as fine as ever...made me smile to see him again. Gray-kun!

Ah yes the Fairy Tail Movie is now up, but it's a low quality so expect the DVD/BluRay version to be up and running in about a few months here.

Also, I'm kind of wondering how they are going to pace themselves with the episodes here since they are almost caught up with the manga again here. So there might be problems if the anime picks one way when the manga goes the other here.

Not only that but I'm expecting a filler arc right afer this storyline is done now.

While I am no Fairy Tail fan and while it has been a long time since I have watched anything FT related, I did enjoy this mini episode and will now proceed to watch the movie as I liked the character that is Eclair and her sweet witto hero, Momom. ^^ 8/10

In any case I'm kind of supprised that the last OVA episode they did technically took place during the festival, and not only that but it was the bath house chapter in the manga as well. Although it feels like htey released it a few epsidoes too early though unless certain things were taken out of it though.

Hey hey. Been some time since I've been posting on FSTV forums! Before all of those epic battles I am also looking forward to Natsu breaking into Sabertooth's house and starting a fight with the master. Aswell as Laxus destroying Raven Tail single handedly.

So Fairy Tail just did it again. Showing many things in the OP already like Ultear, Melody and "Mystogun" reappearing, Raven Tail appearing, the JennyXMirajane-combo and the two Fairy Tail teams. Well I dont really care because I already know what happens, but still I dont like them doing that, it spoils to much.
Nonetheless Im looking forward to great fanservice and great battles, especially Erzas Monster battle , Natsu vs. Rogue and Sting and the battle between Jenny and Mirajane .
