I watched the first episode and I already couldn't stand it Dropped it straight away! If i head Haruka's voice again I might have to break something It just seems so annoying now that I look back at it....

Reminds me of Ah My Goddess Everyone was hoping a big relationship development which was just impossible.... At least Belldandy was a better heroin than Haruka

The weakest anime this season without something really going on in it.
Sometimes I really had to bring myself to watch it instead of just dropping it.

That's precisely how I feel about this show as well. First season was alright, but they expect us to buy the same thing in the 2nd one as well. It's basically going nowhere and keeps on an endless loop of this naive love wrapped in innocence (I mean, for god's sake, at least let them kiss each other, don't know why they're forcing this artificial innocence all the time). I mean, are they trying to avoid the Kannagi incident or what?

If they plan to compress an entire season's worth of character development in 2 freaking episodes than they can count me out when the 3rd season comes out. It's just not worth it anymore.

I give it a 3/10. Only the last two episodes were really doing something for the relation between Ayase and Haruka the rest was just unnessesary.

If they make a third season I will probably watch, but that time defenitely drop it if it doesnt get better.

Em...Kit, this anime is by Diomedea (formerly Studio Barcelona) and J.C.Staff is not related to it in any way.

oops...I don't know how I messed that up...probably because this show gives off the J.C. Staff feel. I also know that the first season was sponsored by Geneon, which is probably where half the references came from, but Geneon seems to not have sponsored the show this time....now I'm curious as to how they got the rights to use those parodies Index and other J.C. Staff shows...

What started with fanservice ended with fanservice. Honestly speaking, I don't know why people had such high expectations for the last episode as well as why they expected Yuuto's and Haruka's relationship to progress significantly. I don't know if they're still following the novels, but no one shouldn't have expected it to have had a solid conclusion, especially not when done by J.C. Staff, who will usually faithfully adapt series for the most part.

All in all, besides the two fanservice episodes, the series had more or less a more serious tone than the first season did and there was some pretty decent development, especially in the latter half of the series. Although the series tend to fall back on its repetitive comedic events, the series shouldn't be pulled down by that and for me it wasn't that big of a hindrance. This was probably one of the better shows this season given a lot of the other junk we've gotten like Kampfer and to some extent Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Of course, I will refrain on commenting on the latter until I watch the last episode later today.

Anyways, putting this series aside a little bit and looking at the references it made...it seems J.C. Staff will be working on another Maria-sama ga Miteru project soon given the hint in episode 6 and the "preview" in the last episode...Another To Aru Majutsu no Index also seems plausible, most likely after To Aru Kagaku no Railgun ends next spring. What was saddening though was that there was a lack or rather no Shana reference this time around. Hopefully this doesn't mean no Shana next fall after the 4 OVAs are finished.

Anyways, hoping for a Nogizaka Haruka Season 3 here since although not the best series out there, it's definitely entertaining to watch compared to most of the recent series out there. 8/10

You pretty much sum everything up.

At the same time, I think I would still be suckered to support the Ayato X Haruka couple... so I think I would keep watching if/when S3 comes out.

I don't think so ^^' There was nothing special in this final episode and nothing changed between Haruka and Yuuto so I don't see where I summed something

I haven't got round to watching the 2nd season yet....saw the 1st season as it aired and finished it lol.

I'm guessing a 3rd season will be announced sometime early in the new year and I hope its the case as I enjoyed the 1st season and I believe the 2nd season as been somewhat of a disappointment.
