Wow, Kit. 3 Really? I can't imagine ever finishing a series that I thought so little of. Anyhoo...

Not the greatest show but not so horrible either. It managed to have a cute and sweet charm to it that allowed me to look past it's bigger flaws, especially it's goofy plot lines and questionable character reasoning. The ending was predictably blah and seemed to really waste the setup of Mizuno having her apartment burn down. From that point it seemed the obvious story direction would have been to have her move into Hayama's place so she could continue going to the school, while at the same time allow Mizuno to get closer to Keigo, but they went with that silly leaving and coming back plot instead. Still the show consistently set up and knocked down a few quality gags in each episode so it never felt like I was completely wasting my time watching it. Plus I kind of developed a thing for Mizuno Sensei so I appreciated her appearances. Oh yeah, and there was that whole educational aspect to it that allowed me to lessen my guilt over looking at middle school girls in their underwear by about 10%. I rate it 6/10.

I guess the reason why I like it better than you is because I marathoned this series all in one go and not watch this on a weekly basis, I was able to watch without considering its flaw too much.......basically, I didn't think about this series as much as you.

I actually watched them in sets since that's how they were released based on the group I followed (along with the amount of time I actually had to watch), so I did end up watching most of the series all at once.

I mean, logically speaking, I had already set my bar pretty low for this show as well as for most, if not all shows this season, and this one just happened to fall very below the bar.

Please describe this so called "plot" in this show because as far as I'm convinced, nothing really changed all that much from beginning to end. I see the implicit objective of this show/manga but it's execution is incredibly poor with all the other elements thrown in, including the moving away plot and few points of comedy.

Also, someone explain the point of the duck, turtle, and whatever the last animal was (forgot)? Was it suppose to represent the trio to some extent?

To a certain degree, poor execution but what I meant by plot is that it went through the troubles of the main characters but in a humurous fashion that you can't really take it seriously at times. For instance, the whole "ppl are lusting for me cuz of my big breasts" arc and the "girls should change in different changing rooms to boys" arc but they were done in a way that some will brush it away. I guess the reason why I like it better than you is because I marathoned this series all in one go and not watch this on a weekly basis, I was able to watch without considering its flaw too much.......basically, I didn't think about this series as much as you.

Those 3 animals are probably the little gimmicks made by the original creator that have just been put into the series like the mini-drunk-old-guys from Kimi no Todoke or they could be entirely just put in there for no reason apart from that the director wanted to put his own touch into the series.

Kit, there is plot and depth in this series but I must admit the moving away crap was disappointing to say the least.

Watching this show on my TV was just mildly embarrassing, considering the endless amounts of underwear shown in each episode. Definitely should've saw that coming.

After being saturated in it for 11 episodes, I gotta say by the end of the 12th, seeing underwear every 30 seconds seems so natural!

overall plot summery: there's more to underwear than panty and bra shots for cheep fanservice.

There is? Shit I must have missed something.

I marathoned this series yesterday and I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this series because it was actually good despite retaining a fair share of silliness. The series was able to send a good message to it intended viewers.

Kit, there is plot and depth in this series but I must admit the moving away crap was disappointing to say the least.

Also, this series was as ecchi as I thought it would be, the older women in this series are MILF-material.

Considering this series' intended audience were girls and young women. So, in that sense, I really shouldn't have watched the series but nonetheless I did and I liked it but it was awkward at times. I thought Haruka's voice (seiyuu is Sayuri Yahagi) was annoying but I believe she was forced to have it because Haruka has a certain accent.

The animation and music wasn't anything to go nuts about, it was medicore at best.

I'm giving this series a 7/10 because despite its flaws, I enjoyed it. Kit's score is exaggerated but I understand most of his points as some things were forced to have depth but failed.

1 word: plot?

I didn't expect a plot from this show and I definitely got what I expected. A show full of not just ecchi, but pointless stereotypical ecchi with an awkward topic to begin with.

Basically what I got out of this is Nayu wants to have everyone appreciate underwear, then she all of a sudden has to move away within the last couple episodes and they attempt to make it play out as if it was some shocking revelation or big drama. I have not read the original manga and have no intention of doing so as I don't expect a plot out of it either.

Art and Animation wise, some characters were drawn okay while others were sub-par ZEXCS quality. In fact, they were worse than their previous project: Umi Monogatari, which aired last summer as well as when compared to their other fail-tastic work this season: Omamori Himari. In addition, when compared to the other animation from this current season, it's simply far behind and feels as if this aired in 2007. The art style is similar to that of H2O, which aired in 2008. Lastly, the last solid art and animation work ZEXCS fully worked on would have to be Da Capo If OVA or Regios, both of which aired last year and when comparing this show's style to the former two, Chu-Bra!! simply doesn't stand a chance.

Music and Sound wise weren't all that great either. OP and ED weren't very interesting despite the awesome vocal cast: Minori Chihara (Yuki in Haruhi, Chiaki in Minami-ke), Sayuri Yahagi (Rima in Shugo Chara!, Haruna in To Love-Ru), Yoko Hikasa (Mio in K-ON!, Ritsu in Asura Cryin'), and Minako Kotobuki (Tsumugi in K-ON!, Rika in Hatsukoi Limited!). It's a shame that most shows with great seiyuus these days end up being poor ecchi shows that really need to just go away at this point given the already lack of good shows.

Enjoyment....uh none. I was playing my PSP 80% of the time while simultaneously watching an episode. Events in this show are pretty predictable and you would really have to be new to anime to not see something coming.

Overall...Chu-Bra! is pretty fail-tastic. I hate to say it, but if anything this show was worst than Queen's Blade plot wise. The only thing that kept me in this show was Yoko Hikasa voicing Kiyono Amahara, who personality wise is a very sharp contrast to that of Mio's in K-ON! and was interesting to see a relatively new seiyuu take on such roles. As a result, this show really does not deserve more than a 2 or 3/10
