For me the highlight was definitely the Machu Pichu part. Azusa was really cute when she was trying to pronounce it. I think there is a good chance their trip will be covered in the movie. I wonder where they will go... it was funny when they were trying to speak English Also I know all too well about the hassles of getting a passport... it was great that they showed some of the problems people run into while trying to get one. Like not having a good photo, or forgetting one important document. I hate getting a passport photo, since I was a child I never had a good photo When Mio was taking her picture, I knew that there was going to be a problem with her hair. |

Mar 22 2011 06:19 PM Yeah a really nice ep, I hope we actually see them gonig overseas, maybe in the movie? Best thing was that the got to see the girls in different outfits and Mio and Mugi in different hairstyles. Especially Mios hairstyle in the beginning was great. |

see my post. I did mention the movie. I really think the movie is going to be nothing more than a recap of the two series. There's no/not enough new material available unless they do an original work, which seems unlikely but certainly welcome so long as it doesn't clash with events in the upcoming manga/4-koma.
| QUOTE (Killer_Ossi @ Mar 08 2011, 02:29 AM) | A really good news. I really feared it would be just some mindless fun while they were still in Highschool so its good that they actually move on. And even if most fans wont like it I hope they change their style of clothers & hair and begin to physically change (they are already 18 and not 15 anymore!). And that there will be trouble with boys, even though its an all girls school. Or better, trouble with girls
I think you can forget Budokan, and just like Kit I dont really need it back. |

| QUOTE (Kit-Tsukasa @ Mar 08 2011, 02:50 PM) | I saw this and had no time to post recently, but 3rd season seems incredibly likely at this point. I'm sure KyoAni will be more than willing to milk this franchise to death considering they suddenly decided to make a movie for K-ON! It's an easy money maker and it's really hard to make such a show "go wrong" given the way it's already presented along with its hype.
It's not impossible for a trainwreck, but I think it's going to be more of a focus on what Azusa will do with her life. The original 4-koma really changed its plot from the original 4 shooting for Budokan to Azusa taking on the lead role by the "end". With them "out of the picture" and Azusa only having one year to graduate, will she choose to go to the same college as her seniors (likely possibility) or will she decide to pursue her own career...or just form a band with Ui and Jun
I think the Budokan story is out the window at this point and I'd rather not see it come back unless it comes back meaningfully |
Well its a slice of life story no need for Mind-Raping plot twists anyways
But yeah I really hadn't thought about Azusa's possible storyline though, It really seems interesting I never noticed she HAS lots of choices to decide upon.
Ahh well I just kinda remembered budokan anyways after I tried to recall season 1 | QUOTE (Killer_Ossi @ Mar 08 2011, 06:29 PM) | A really good news. Ahh I have to agree on that too, I so want a change of their style considering I too had a drastic change once I did enter College since I was given more freedom to be stylish. Well Im pretty sure some Fans would Likely more bash their heads out if they do have boyfriends rather than yuri relationships /sweatdrop |

although no anime announcement is made, Im inclined to think a 3rd season is likely.
I dont know If I should happy or sad, even as a K-on fan I hope this doesn't end up being a trainwreck but... its a slice of life story so I can hope at least for the best.
Still after all though wasn't HTT's goal to reach budokan?? they may be a lax bunch but they do things right when they really need to I think? I just hope this extension does cover that or at least hints to that part. |
