Akiko Shikata, the same singer who did the Umineko no Naku Koro ni OP. It's the same as the ending for the first episode too.

the OP Inori no Kanata was done by Akiko Shikata
while the end was is Tenkuu no Canaria, done by the same person who play Collette, Nana Mizuki

Ah so that's why the vocals sounded so familiar. Thanks for letting me know about that Kit-san.

Anyways I'm now wondering if they are going to go straight after Collette or are they going to pull a side trip to get her back. And by side trip I mean Lloyd and the gang going to help Shenna with the pact with Volt. Heck it's almost like we skipped her pact making with Undine let alone if she made any at all it would seem.

On an a side note does anyone know who sang the ED song for this episode since it's now bugging me.

Well since they are doing it as an OVA instead of a series it doesn't feel rushed as of yet, but more along the line of it taking a unique stance on what has happened so far. So far the Tethe'alla-hen is pretty good. Although the Syvraunt-hen is how this all began though.

So is tales of symphonia decent? It gives me bad Tales of the Abyss vibes from looking at it, and lets just say TotA sucked to put it lightly.

Fill me in.

In any case I'm sure when they finish up the Tethe'alla-hen they'll probably do a final chapter to mak ethis a 3 part story OVA.

It has already been announced.

Yeay they finally got around to my cute little axe wielding loli.

Anyways even though the game was much different I still have to say they did a pretty good job animating this part of the storyline. In any case I'm supprised that Lloyd and the gang never end up in Mizuho, but then again it seems to be better that they didn't as of yet anyways.

So after a few months we finally get the second episode of Tethe'alla-hen.

Episode 2 was gorgeous beyond belief. As a Presea fan, I had no negative comments about this episode. Not only does the episode give extremely deep character development to Presea and Regal, the show went as far as tying in the additional sidequest between the two and Alicia as well as completely animating it out, making it clearer than what the game did. A very touching episode from beginning to end. Although it seems as if the show isn't going to get very far, with the announcement of the third set of OVAs, it seems this show will only cover to the second part of the of game, prior to all the Derris Kharlan and Heimdall stuff.

Regardless, this is much better than the first set of OVAs that came in 2007 and I'm really glad they extended each episode from 30 minutes to 45 minutes since all 45 minutes were used to its absolute fullest. So far, I would say this is probably the best anime adapted from a video game that I've seen so far. A decent pacing while covering the story in depth and not just cruising over stuff as if they were relatively unimportant. Although some of the stuff in the OVA didn't actually happen in the game (e.g. I don't recall Yggdrassil appearing in the Toize Mine, let alone using Time Stop and capturing Collette), I guess whatever works.
What's more interesting is the fact that "Mithos" has yet to appear since he was suppose to in the episode prior to this. In addition, they have yet to take down Forcystus, Pronyma, and Rodyle, which is where the end of the first disc of the game takes place. They also still need to make pacts with the summons of Tethe'alla, which they will at least make with Volt next episode...At the least though, it seems that based on the OP video, they will at least get back to Sylvarant using the special "warp." The question is what will be skipped and what will be covered. My guess is Volt/Shiina's story + the rest of the summons next episode, and the fourth episode will be the end of the Desians. Regardless, it seems the last 2 episodes will be a bit more rushed than this one, but I just hope they don't make it Tales of the Abyss style rushed.

Finally the Tethe'alla OVA is now out. I have to say I'm glad to see a bit more into the Zelos and Sheena relationship more here. Also, not only that, but I finally get to see my favorite loli Presea in action for a while here.

Also, it feels like that they've done a better job on how things played out here as well. I mean it feels a bit more unique and more along the line of what could of happened if you didn't have to follow the game to a certain point as well.

Yeays, so this OVA series is not dead afterall. Besides I was looking forward to seeing Presea in action for once, and Regal as well. For some reason this almost feels similar to the Helsing OVA ordeal in a way.

Not only that, but didn't they have other trouble as well?
