So bad it was that good... That is my take on this little gem. Just marathoned the entire series...12 episodes at 8 mins. a pop and what a series! One either hates it or loves it! I loved it!
Who ever said life is fair? And if one be kissed by the gods, since birth, who cares?
And thus begins the Drama, Parody, Shoujo anime series that is imo, way over the top melodramatic...followed by cheesy lines, overacting and way too pretty characters. I loved every minute of it and had loads of chuckles and snickers, while watching it. A battle between two beautiful sisters ensues. A user of women and a bishounen at that, marries the least confident of the two, while a tormented bishounen seduces and beds the younger one. Then there is the mysterious fan who also, moonlights as a beauty critic for said battle...his "training" of Sara-chan had me laughing lots. Of course, what beauty contest can do without your clichéd, gay, make-up artist, with a heart of gold? Amusing characters, all...and the maniacal laughter that was to be had? Well, way hilarious!
Having watched the awful, Legend of Duo...let's just say this one rivals it in the department of "deliciously bad but fun anime series."
All in all, I recommend it to those of you with a good sense of humor and who don't take their anime seriously...at least not all of them.
@ Nioki-san...I loved Neko-chan. He was funny, loved to sing, and butt into people's lives. His master made good use of him.

No need to merge, double post rules only come into play if consecutive posts are done on the same day, but there is a week's difference between your posts.

Well, they subbed up to episode 4 and promised that there would be speedy releases but that doesn't seem like the case but then again I can't complain because it is afterall, the time were most FINAL exams take place, mine will begin next month but I have a small lab exam in 11 days....CRAP....11 days.

Well I've watched episodes one - four, and though the episodes are still too short, and at times quite uninformative, the comedy is getting better (if you consider most actions of the characters to be puns of "mega-shoujo" anime) Its worth to check out, but it is for a really niche audience. (and it really doesn't take a lot of time, so watching it wont kill you:P )
Oh, and the cat isn't cute anymore its big and scary now T_T

I'll get the other three later) Its just that exams are coming up soon and I have to finish my project before them:P So even a little anime is quite a bit of time out of studies:P I usually get to watch an episode or something right before my uni lately)

P.S. And I didnt know four have been subbed already anyway) too lasy to check other sources

Only the first.....well the first 4 have been subbed and I'm too lazy to watch the other 3 and I was kinda hoping you were gonna review the first 4. I guess I'll watch them eventually.

Was a bit busy. But now finally have free time to give a little review of the first episode.
The episode was only eight or so minutes long, and to me it looked more like a 00 introduction episode\preview. Aside from introducing the main characters it hardly gives us any interesting situations or fun moments. Plot-wise it just sets up the initial conflict (without giving us a sufficient explanation over what it is once again).
The characters are currently too cliche and dull but that might be due to little background (But I'll never change my view on Tatsuya.... he's guaranteed to be the dullest character in the show... his face gives it away..; and I'll forgive Saki since the only good moments seem to happen when she shows up, and she possesses the epic Nagi laugh). As for the animation, I cant really say its eye-candy for me, but I'll get used to it as long as the story is good enough (cant say Tenshi na Konomaiki was eye-candy, but the story opened my mind xD). So I'll be waiting for more episodes to give it a final judgement.
Right now it seems as a ultra-typical shoujo (the one that usually gets punned in other anime), I mean, just look at those stars in the eyes (Every single character has them no matter their mental state or sex ):

I just remember it as a cheesey shoujo that looked kinda pretty and I had a feeling that I would get a good laugh from this. I think I'll wait till the group releases all the episode before watching this.

Can't say anything at moment 'cause haven't even downloaded it . But since you liked it, and the stuff i pick up after reading your comments is usually good, i'll do that downloading part right now and post my comment on the show later ( fourth thing next morning .

And just wondering how much comedy is in the comedy tag for this specific anime?

I want this to be subbed......someone out there sub it please. Did anyone else "even try" to watch the first episode (it was great in my opinion) ???
