The anime definately isnt anything i would recommend to anybody.

I finished watching it because I was curious what shoking stuff they would come up with next, but the last few episodes felt flat, especially the last one.

One would expect some grand final, but nah..... nothing. One year from now on I wont even remember the series.

I finally got to finish this series. To say that this series is good would be a big overrating. Animation is pretty simple at first but as warita200 mentioned it does have details. So this simplicity is not due to laziness but purposely done. In that respect the animators didn't seem to want to make realistic figures as it could really make this series fall into another genre than ecchi. Music was pretty bad. Voices also not so good and certainly not emotional. It seems the seiyuus really didn't want to get too close to the characters. Some of the characters even if perverted were pretty nice. Anna being the big plus on this part.
To say the jokes were good is also too much. They were crude and in every bit disturbing sometimes.

In all a failed series with failed humor, dull characters and some good animation. For me it is a 4 out of 10.

The series of Hen Zemi....I wouldn't say completely different from the OADs since the OADs fall in between episodes of the series.

Of course, this series is based on perversion and fetishes from beginning to end, episode by episode. That wasn't the issue with this series. In fact, the biggest issue with this series was its lack of humor, particular in relation to the OAD. While some parts were certainly out of the world, surprisingly a larger chunk is stuff you could find in your average harem or ecchi show or better yet a show like B Gata H Kei.

Animation is rather poor coming from XEBEC. Same quality as the OAD but one can easily notice the overtime deterioration of the art and animation quality as the series went on. It's even more noticeable when you compare and contrast the OP and ED themes to the episode itself.

Music? Really didn't care for it. The lyrics were funny, but that was about it. Instrumentals were fairly poor and dull. Seiyuus cast were really bland for this show.

Character? Not really anyone received development except Anna, whose back story was actually rather interesting, probably the best part of the series. The other characters were flat overall, especially with Matsutaka only growing a little bit by the end of the series. Learning more about Gregory Makiko would have been interesting since she's already mysterious as is. Opening her up would have probably been a cool dive.

Enjoyment? Almost none. Like I said, the reason why I didn't like this show was not because of the content itself but rather the lack of substance.

Overall, Hen Zemi was a poor follow up to its OAD releases. It had a few ups, but mostly downs overall. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and definitely not your average perversion joe unless they can really stomach some sick jokes at times.

Preliminary Score: 6/10
Final Score: 5/10

It is disturbing and seems to focus on crude humor. I wouldn't say that it fails as a series. Better to say that it is different from expected comedy series.

I actually dont find it humorous at all.... but it is for sure interesting. That said, the last episode felt kind of sad.

Also, Komugi is a saddist. He is good at figuring out what people think and he can be considerate, I mean, he saved Nanakos butt on several occations... yet he fails to recognize she is in love with him??? I bet he knows, he has that knowing smirk on his face half the time.

I also feel nanako is getting used to the environment, because she doesnt look so shocked anymore as she was in the first 2 episodes. LOL

I will continue watching this, if for no other reason then out of curiosity.

PS: I find the art work interesting. The characters are drawn in a cute moe way sort of, but at the same time, their body proportions are quite realistic. The girls in this anime actually look like women, aka they have a proper butt, legs and breasts. And the guys look OK too, they even bother to draw their armpit hair. But I enjoy details like this. This anime definately is something else. I enjoy it!!!

O...Why did i start with this series? It is disturbing and seems to focus on crude humor. I wouldn't say that it fails as a series. Better to say that it is different from expected comedy series. The students look to do everything possible to make even the most disgusting things happen. It may be a niche series since it ain't a real comedy or a real ecchi series. I think i'll watch this series in one go after the last episode was broadcast...watching this in pieces is way too disturbing..

Why have I watched the third episode?? Nandeshou ka? No, dont ask me, I dont know myself. Maybe the curiosity got the better of me, I was wondering what will be the next mind blowing perversity they will come up with.

That said, episode 3 was somewhat tame compared to the first 2. Nothing really much happened in there.

Something that left me wondering is, if Komugi really doesnt get it, why Nananko joined the class. Is he that dense? I actually had the feeling he knows very well and thats why he plays the little games with her.

I will continue watching it just because I want to see where it continues to go. I am not into kinky stuff but there are some funny and of course disgusting parts like the beer. You just can't help but either laugh or wonder can that really happen.

So, unless you are into kinky stuff, you wont get much out of this one.

I not into kinky stuff, I enjoying this pretty well. It's mainly from Mizukoshi's delusions (can anyone top her in perversion?) or NTR guy's commentary and watching how the others react to it

Watched about 5 minutes of both the OVA and the first series ep and dropped both. Not funny, not interesting, nothing.
Waste of time.

As for the "series" it's not just ecchi but more of a fetishism type show. This show basically throws everything pleasant and disgusting all into one basket and makes it essentially a gag comedy. There times when it shines but there are also times it is simply disturbing.

Agree...watched the first so-called OVA over a year ago and it was okay...nothing great. But after the second episode or OVA or whatever...I dropped this one. Did not bother watching the whole thing. I like ecchi and silliness but for me, this one was too crude.
