Never seen the Inuyasha anime huh? Cause that was ends pretty bad and in a similar way.

But the anime is only 2 years old so I guess a sequel is still possible and I'm hoping for one. I saw the series on TV and I wouldn't have guessed that was the last episode based on the story. Have you tried reading the manga? I think it's still ongoing so that could give you an actual ending to the whole thing.

Actually...both manga and anime are based on novel series. And the author of novels has died without finishing it... Thats the reason on why we won't see new season of it.

Manga is continuing on its own now. It still follows the novel plot, but has already expanded it quite a big.
Anyone who wants to see more detailed scenes of certain events in anime will surely need to read it. Also there were some events which never happened in anime. These events enlightened us quite a bit on what Abel did and who was that red-haired woman.

I haven't heard anything anywhere about a second season, though the ending certainly seems to setup one, cause if it doesn't, then it has to be one of the worst anime endings ever.

Seriously, even if a second season was intended, the "1st season" wrap up was pretty poorly done.

It seemed the series took it's sweet time really setting up the main story and didn't really hit you with it until the last few episodes.

I mean, what series sets up the epic final battle between the main good and bad guy then completely skip the fight with no explaination?

That last episode just left me slapping my head going "dwuh?"

Hmm...i got the first manga book for Trinity Blood and really enjoyed it...but I tried the first episode and wasn't really as captured by it! Though, a lot of the images look good...so I might try and stick with it and hopefully i'll be as addicted as many of you seem ^^. hehe...though I have a rather huuuge queue of anime to watch!

That's odd but since i usually steer clear of dubs then I guess it doesn't really effect me. And yeah the ending definitely seems open-ended I'm really suprised I haven't heard anything about a second season. As many animes that get second seasons etc this one is certainly deserving of one.

I was reading that at the movie theaters they were going to start playing some anime break it down into possibly the first hr. and 1/2 or so to get people interested and Trinity Blood was one of those animes. That was a few months back but I haven't seen that taking place. I don't know if i would go see an anime that I've already seen the whole series though maybe.

I never watched the english dub but I have the japenese sub on DVD. Hyugga you have me wondering what they skipped? I can't believe they would just not finish the anime in it's entirety. What could be the reason for that. I really liked Trinity Blood. I always felt that there should be a continuation of this series. There seems to be alot more story to tell.

It just seems to jump at the end. It goes from Able and Cain fighting and falling to Ester being crowned Queen
