Haven't watch any To heart series. I think I'm gonna give this one a try. Hope its good.

Each To Heart series is totally different so if you don't like one you may like another. I loved the original To Heart but didn't like the sequel (RMM) which was too serious, or the "next generation" story (To Heart2) which was too fluffy. However you won't find the original as a fansub anymore as it was licenced a few years ago (though I doubt it sold well as it's a very minimalist slice of life story).

Perhaps they should have called it “To Heart—The Next Generation”!
I suspect that like Star Trek, the reason for retaining the title is just to cash in on the earlier story’s success. Maybe they also still had a stocks of red & white cosplay sailor suits they needed to sell off.

Why did they call To Heart 2, To Heart 2? It's not going about the same characters as To Heart, isn't it a bit more logical that it has an other name?

To heart 2 was a nice series. A bit predicable but nice. It was way better than Remember my memories. To heart was the best one of the series.
OAV? I don't know anything about that? is it going to be about the characters of series 1 or 2? i hope 2. That girl who runs the mysteryclub was my favorite of the whole series. She really was a nice character.
