Taira Kappeita, or Capeta, was a 4th grader boy. He had lost his mother when he had been very little. Although he pretended to be tough in front of his father, actually he felt lonely. One day, his father brought junk parts home from his workplace and made a racing cart. Soon, they went to a circuit to drive the cart. However, Capeta found that its frame was bent and it could hardly run straight. But, with his technique he managed the cart. Furthermore, he followed soon after the fast cart and he could nearly leave it behind. The driver in the cart was Minamoto Naomoi, the champion of the East Japan Junior Cart. Looking at their chase, Naomi’s mother, Minamoto Nanako, advised Capeta to take part in the official race.

No, No Nooooo, this cant be the end. (reg.ep. 52)
I want to see more, (ep. 53, if it out there somewhere. plz tell me.)
I wanna see more of the racing before he enters F1, and when he enters F1 and beat the other guy..
naaaaa if this is the end i will be very disappointed.
Shame on the (writer/illustrator) if (he/she) took the easy way out, and dident end it properly.

can't find capeta anymore in the anime list? also it disapeared from my watchlist? where is it? is ep53 already available......argchh you see i need capeta (or wangan midnight but the wait for that is useless i guess)

juz saying wat i think 2nd season might not be out cuz the ending did say tat capeta n minamoto racing against each other in the italian f1 championsiip... n the whole story of the anime isn't it he's aiming to catch up wif minamoto n race him? n also to race in f1 n also enjoying? well he already reach all the goals...so i guess tat the end of it? but maybe anime n manga is different.. bout manga there aren't any scanlator for it ... so is impossible to find unless u dun mind raw

Don't know if there is going to be a second season, but I know that the manga is ongoing and the plot longer, so now I'm looking for the manga. But I can't find it anywhere, do anyone know of some good download sites that might have the manga?

Well that is a problem with VLC, NOT with the fansubs itself...

VLC is a BAD player, especially to watch fansubs with

No official thread.

Man, I really hate softsubs. Capeta 38, at the 10 minute, 10 second mark or so, the guy says "Is Taira-kun also taking it?", but the subbers thought it would be fun to put {up the butt} between it and ? in the comments.

VLC can't distinguish between subs and hidden comments in softsubs, so that line got displayed intact as "Is Taira-kun also taking it{up the butt}?"

I wonder how many kids are right now asking their parents what taking it up the butt means.
