As summer break arrives for the students, Jun Sakurada is busily studying on his own in the library, making up for time lost while he had confined himself to his home. Meanwhile, his Rozen Maiden doll, Shinku, has been having troubling dreams of late. The pain and sadness of defeating Suigintou was overwhelming, despite the inevitable battle they waged. After waking suddenly from a nightmare, she finds Suigintou's companion spirit
wandering; upon giving chase, she discovers that the seventh Doll-- Barasuishou-- has awakened. She now realizes
that Suigintou's fate may very well befall the other Dolls, for the appearance of the last Doll signals the
beginning of the end of the Alice Games.

took them long enough. the anime was pretty good. im hoping a new season will be produced.

Hmm... I've read the manga. It's only 8 volumes and sad to say it doesn't have an ending. So I'm guessing the producers did not want to attempt to create their own ending for the series. Apparently the manga is making a comeback though. So maybe we'll have enough material for a third season. Would really look forward to more Rozen Maiden. =)

Okay, let's get serious. I liked this entire series a lot when i first saw it. Both ova's in which suigintou and shinku's past was explained sure was nice. Does anyone know if there is going to be a third season?
When i see that lots of series get a next season why doesn't this one? when seeing the saimoe leagues the characters of these series always are doing fine even after all these years. I really would like to see a continuation of the alice game and how it will finally end. What is the advice Rozen gave to Shinku to play it without hurting the others? what is the role of Kirashishou? And Suigintou with Megu? It sure makes me sad to see such a potential good series go to waste due to lack of a worthy ending season.

I meant ironic that you have Lacus who is usually happy and now you have a "mean/evil" looking one lol not the way its drawn.

Yup. That pic really intrigued me before They should really put that in Rozen Maiden for the hell of it. It would be really ironic.
