Tomosaka Kenji, the main character of this story, moved to this coastal town when he was a child. At that time, the sea spread in front of him was shying like lamune (lemonade), reflecting the sunlight of the summer. There, he met a girl.

Her name was Kokonoe Nanami, who lived next door. Her room was only 1-2 meters away beyond the veranda. Their rooms were so closed as if they were within their arms� reach.

other way around ppl, you could say kkm is a twist off of this since lamune aired a year earlier but yeah its a good, calm show with a happy ending; its good for people who just watched a tragedy and maybe want to see a show where the person actually wakes up this time

This sure is a surprise. A nice calm anime in which you can relax and wait for the nice ending which is very clear for the very first minutes of the series.
Okay, this sounds dull but you're in for a surprise if you think lightly of this series. It really does well in the emotional department and it tries to make you like all the characters. A few episodes were a bit overboard by introducing sidestories to an otherwise nicely done story. Watch it if you haven't seen it already.

Yeah i think this anime is slightly the same with kage kara mamoru but the differences is lamune comedy and love but for kage kara mamoru is action and comedy also love lol....that is the differrents only ....Anyway It's nice to watch this anime specially i like nanami........

well.. I suppose you could call it slightly tweaked... if that slight tweak is the main character being a ninja versus an ordinary guy.. kage kara mamoru is almost like a fighting / comedy anime.. maybe this one is love / comedy?

i'm just finished watching the first eps of lamune...

well at the first eps... it's looks like a very relaxing anime.... no fighting... just a daily life...

what will happen in the next eps??

I thought in the song they say "lamune" and it translates to lemonade. Could be wrong, just off the top of my head.

Lamune and Ramune are the same word. The Japanese technically don't have a "L" or "R" sound, but the one set of characters is romanized with either L/R because it can sound like either to a non-Japanese ear.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "Lamune" lemonade? (say it really slowly and it kind of sounds like it )

I think lamune in one translation means lemonade but the lamune here is that drink in the crystal bottle.

I do remember something like that.
