Because he fired a rocket bomb into the US camp, Asap(?) Suzuki was wanted by the US Army and the Police. While he was running away by automobile, suddenly the sea surface rose, and the light was shining there. And, he saw a strange looking battleship flying in the light.

He was dumped into the sea, and when he crawled up to the battleship, there was a beatuful girl standing. She said that she was Lyx(?), the prince of another world, Byston Wel, and added,

“My father is Japanese, Shinjiro Sakomizu. Please help me, Asap Suzuki”.

He was surprised because she wasn’t supposed to know his name.

It wasn’t only the battleship but people from Byston Wel and machines looked like insects appeared one after another, and the cities were in fire by the bombardment of the battleships.

because it's an ONA (Original Net Anime) and it's being aired on the internet in installments, so new episodes premiere every few months. Episode 2 of The Wings of Rean is set to air next month on Bandai Channel (www.b-ch.com). One can only hope that Bandai Channel puts it in their free section.

Yea, under normal conditions someone would've stopped him but I think the reason why he was able to walk around freely was because of the chaos of war. He's a no-threat non-combatant and nobody really has the time to take care of him.

Saw the first ep of this. Man this anime is weird
I like the idea of war against this world too, but the Wings of Rean were just lame. I mean... wings out of your boots doesn't look cool at all. it looks like some 4 years old dream
And why do nobody react to Aesop who is running around in their battleship. The normal thing to do would have been to arrest him but still he's allowed to roam free in their battleship arguing with the princess :/

Somehow the battleships reminded me of bugs with wings :/

Well, it says it's a new Aura Battle saga, so I'm guessing may be they would use some specific terms that are from the old TV animes and manga may be?

And it's directed by the same director as Zeta-Gundam...so does that hint lots of characters would die toward the end?
