This series surprised me...probably one of the best i have seen in a long time. On par with FMP...good chars, good stories that tie together, amazing animation and battles.

Ya, I never touch BT any more either.. My crappy upload bandwidth gets me gradually blacklisted in the trackers even when I max it out, so my downloads invariably grind to a halt in the last quarter. Bwaa! Quinn, just look up the "xdcc bot" information on the subbers' sites; you can hop on irc and direct download from the bots. Usually the queues are instant or at least very short (minutes not hours). Ask in the channel for n00b-help if required.

I've watched up to ep.21 now and there's already been a climax of sorts.. wonder if the scant remaining time will finally be spent filling in some of the missing details of their World.  The Third certainly turned out to be quite toothless and mundaine after the character Iks stole their enigmatic thunder at the start of the series.  The Third were kinda put aside for most of the series huh..

After seeing the last few eps, I've decided the whole archnemesis-become-nakama twist is getting really old. It must be a cultural thing with that variation of "the ol' switcheroo" being so pervasive in so many animes.

"the feeling i felt was emptiness" was what honoka always said.

after watching ep 24 (the last ep), i felt the same thing.

all the revving up and in the end you get a story that could have come from any direction, almost as if the last ep was an afterthought.

very disappointing. this anime could have been so much more. more could have been shown about "the third", and "iks", but no, they had to dwell on some side-story randomly constructed lesbian teacher and what not irrelevancies throughout the episodes.

this anime with superb potential just hit the rocks.. sorry to all the fans out there, there's barely a word of praise that can be said about this anime. except maybe bogie got a nice color.

thanks for the information about how to get epi 17. haha my mistake. But unfortunately, i dont download torrent files. im not sure how to use them. so i usually use http direct downloads.

im wondering, if any of you people have any other web sites that have direct downloads for epi 17? pretty pleasee~!!! sorry to cause so much trouble.

NinjaDuck you absolutely won't be dissapointing in the last part of this series and ending. The story is brilliant. Honoka is a tremendous character she really makes the story flow well and makes you wish that the story doesn't end there. While this anime didn't get the fanfare it's story was top quality...The animation did go bad for one episode but I can overlook that since everything else kept me wanting more. I like that if you think that it started off slow the story just kept progressing and getting better with each episode. So if you quit on it after watching the first 2 or 3 than you really missed out.

Ya, Quinn if you meant 17 (or even 7) just go to the fansub's source.. Ayu-anime.net homesite in this case, or #ayu on a toonlicious irc network like Rizon. Even though Fansub TV is the Most Awesome Site Ever for cartoon goodies, their servers don't have to be your only middleman. :o)
(But then make sure you pay attention to your FSTV download schedule if you've subscribed the series, so you don't end up with wasteful double-downloads.)

But I digress..

I agree with the comments that this show's gaining some much-needed impetus as it reaches its finalé.. At the start of the 2nd half of the run (circa ep.13?), when the artwork suddenly lost its luster and the story started feeling like filler, I thought it was really letting down the can't-wait-till-next-episode enjoyment of the 1st half. I'm up to ep.19 now and it seems to be getting interesting again. The charming accent of that opening singer haunts my mind more & more too. (^_^)'

Episode 7's still on the Fansub.tv server, but since it is old, only Full Service and the Scheduler options are available. Unless you meant episode 17...
