Well just finished watching the series.
Since I studied french history it was nice so see famous names in the story .
I didn't like the story being based on the switch between the boys to choose the king

UPDATE:

I spoke way too soon. Chevalier is now licensed by Shochiku and is expected to be released in February 2007

It said: "Removed at request" or something... but I just figured it's not the same as "This series is licensed and has been removed from the site."

It is indeed not licensed. However, someone like Media Factory or some other company probably requested it to be removed, thus it now counts as copyrighted material.

I thought that this anime was just hard to follow.... with those zombies and the mystery around those spells in Latin and.. I also didn't notice any new eps on Animesuki untill I just found it on Tokyotosho....

No really, is anyone still wathing this one? I dropped this one but if anyone is still watching it and could tell me if it's still worth watching (and why) then I might give it try again.... found on Tokyotosho that Shinsen-subs already subbed it till episode 8 O_O...

Edit: since when has it been licensed?!? I don't see anything from this anime on the site of Animesuki...

I don't know whats up with animesuki, but they have been removing a lot of series from their site lately: Happiness! and Gift ~Eternal Rainbow~ especially . I haven't heard any new licenses lately except for Air Gear nor have I heard any company tell fansubbers to stop subbing something.

Regarding your first question, I dropped it since AnimeYuki didn't sub it for a long time even after episode 2 came out. I may pick up this series again if I have time, but that's really hard to say.

I'm so confused now... Just saw on Tokyotosho that Shinsen subs released episode 5.. and I think I'm still on 2 O_o I downloaded 4 accidently yesterday, and when I was watching it, but didn't understand it at all I noticed that I missed episode 3 =_= I blame that huge time gap between the first and second ep... The story is a bit weird and hard to follow.

Especially that ending song "OverNight", it's english and the song is really good.

I enjoyed that song as well and currently searching for a release date for it. Nipponsei doesn't seem to have one for it
