New York...girls who approach together being introduced by cruel fates...conflicts, and feuding over their sense of values...

Kate, Rose, and Rachel go to a same school.

Since the morning, they’ve been feeling something strange. They are informed of a sudden death of a classmate, Leeds. In the evening, being in grief, the girls gather in an empty warehouse street as if they were led by something.

Usually, they are not in company, but coincidentally, they had the same strange feelings, and they lost their memories of the last night. When they hear someone’s footsteps and turn, there is a strange couple. The woman notifies them a surprising truth sounds like a lie;“ You are dead”

I loved the ending and to be honest, Herve got what he deserved since his obsession to save his sister killed what humanity he had. They did show at the end of the ep that there would be an OVA in August so me and my mom are happy about that. This show was pretty unique as far as setting and the way the story was written. Very fresh and original. Plus the character designs were very different from most anime's airing right now. I hope the people who helped to create this one will make something else just as fresh as this.

Actually, you should all pay special attention to the lyrics of the second ED by LM-C's, "Oh, My Juliet!" Although not exactly a spolier, they do give a very clear direction of where the plot is heading... And because the lyrics are actually quite good (as oppose to some real inane anime lyrics I've seen). I've watched the raw of 22 and yes, it is very befitting that it ends the way it did.

As to being angsty, I suppose yeah... If you know you're sorta dead, but not really dead and have no clue as to why you're this way... I would be pretty angsty myself!

Just downloaded the last 3 episodes. Then saw the Shinsen report. Odd to end it 22 episodes but at least there will be an OVA as JCD stated. Though with the reports of no half-ass ending I'm looking forward to it. Think I'll dvd it and watch the ending on the big screen in honor of the finale. I'm gonna miss those teen queens of angst

Shinsen Page: Well, this is it. As you all know from Asakomi's post for 21, this is the last, final episode to be aired on TV. There will be an OVA of unknown length starting in August, but let me just say, without spoiling anything, that the ending isn't some lame half-assery. This has truly been a unique and wonderful experience. If you've been watching this show since it began, you know that it's all about the characters, their development, and above all else the beautiful portrayal of emotion. It's one of the best series I've ever had the pleasure of watching, and when paired with the best team fansubbing has ever seen, it was truly miraculous. I'm sad to see it go.

Warita, episode 22 is the last to air on Japanese TV but this is what I've read at the Shinsen Subs homepage: -

"There will be an OVA of unknown length starting in August."

I won't be watching the last three episodes for a while not enough disk-space, need to get some DVDs and burn like hell or just buy a new external hard-drive. So, I'm gonna have to avoid this thread as usual coz I'm always behind you guys and to avoid spoilers.

Huraah! to Shinsen Subs to be the first fansub group in finishing the subbing and releasing of Red Garden anime TV series.

I just checked ANN for information and it seems that episode 22 is the last one. I really enjoyed this anime in an unusual way. I am really curious as how the anime will end. I am pretty clueless which side will win..... maybe both will lose in the end. This is partially what I like about the anime, it is not so linear like the majority, where you know from the start what will happen at the end or better to say, who are the good guys and who are the bad ones. I found episode 21 especially touching, becaue of how the girls took their good byes with their loved ones in such a sweet, soft und un pushing way.

orofena the one i have mad respect for with such a high level of intellect *ergo proxy thread, still in awe * I also do not want to see Herve become the knight in shining armor for our pale heroine Kate. I want to see what the company has in store for her. He should be more focused on saving Anna. If they just have to save Kate let it be the other teen queens of angst banning together saving their own. Possibly progressing with their powers as they attempt to do so. If push comes to shove they can take Lulu let her get some much needed revenge for her beloved J.C.

Hmmn... Senpai, as usual very entertaining summaries!

So one down, who will be the next to go? The plot seems to be spiralling towards some sort of conclusion (provided they decide to end this anime with the usual 26 ep count.) I, for one, would be very disappointed if they do that "Hervé rescues Kate" crap Hopefully, this anime will explore a more a interesting resolution than the usual ho-hum ones...

Eppy 19 another good episode well once you factor in the fact that there is gonna be quite a good amount of teen angst you get used to it. Alot of talk about catching colds. I wonder is there something really wrong with Rose?

Claire still has father issues but you have to start to wonder if it was really all her dad. Her brother doesn't have the same issues. I remember a few episodes back when Claire was dropping F-Bombs on papa's noggin he kept saying it wasn't like that. Maybe he was referring to Claire's mom maybe she was at fault somewhere along the way possible affair? Who knows I'm reaching there.

Rook steps back into the picture. So he confesses his love for Rachel. It did not shock me at all that Rachel rejected him. She seems to have matured and knows it's just not meant to be. Though I was a little dissapointed we didn't get shocked Rook face oh well maybe another episode.

Then the scene with Paula and Kate. Good geez was that emotional. It seemed from my perspective that Paula confessed to Kate. Kate hmm I'm not sure how she perceived it she was basically just caught up in the luvfest. But Paula's overconcerned worries seemed to have been justified. Kate is in a bad way now.

Warita you posed some interesting theories. Hard to imagine if Kate and the other teen queens of angst have to rumble. Somebody is gonna get hurt. Plus we can add another officer/detective to the body count.

Let's also take a moment of silence for J.C. somewhere Lulu is rolling on top of his grave crying I luv you J.C. she might not ever recover.
