Thanks to his grandfather's will, Mizuho is transferring to the Seiō Jogakuin All-girls School... the same school his deceased mother attended 22 years earlier. Only problem is, Mizuho is a guy! Fortunately, Mizuho's appearance does look alot like a girl. And with some help from his childhood friend, Mariya, Mizuho crossdressed to fulfill his grandfather's last wish.

The story focus on the good natured Mizuho and his interactions with the various girls he encountered at the school, while trying to protect his indentity at the same time. It was tough at first, and he did get found out by Shion, who is also the previous year's "Elder Sister". Fortunately, she kept the secret and taught Mizuho how to become a lady. As luck would have it, he became very popular in the school and was elected "Elder Sister". However, not all things go smoothly, as his success drew the attention and jealousy of the student council president, Takako. He also needs to help solve problems of the two lower classmen, Kana and Yukari, who board with Mariya and him. To top it off, he is haunted by a ghost from the past... Ichiko!

Those are still rumors on the second season, no official news. I saw the OVA and the 1st season. I also want to see Mizaho if he will end up with Takako or the obvious he chooses his childhood friend ending. If it stays at that he only graduates and you don't know why his gramps did that, who he chooses. Why the ghost couldn't move to the after life, or the other 2 girls find out his secret. That will just ruin it, it will just leave a big disappointment where a good ending to the series expectation is.

The OVA was just a fairytale story of Cinderlla(Tsunderella), was just funny. Mariya takes a turn to be the evil step sister and just pushes Takiko around. I just hope we hear something at least hinting that either there are plans or non for a 2nd season. JAANE~

well it sounds interesting but I won't expect of too much... and if it's only brainstorm ideas then we won't get a second season for a while..

well to follow up on the lastest rumor... I'm hearing around the studios interns and on forums that as most heard they may be making it LA. which is already all over forums... But the story for a second season goes that yes, they graduate, but because his transcripts say he he was a girl, he needs to continue dressing like one since others from his highschool end up going to teach at his college, and their are supposed to be a few students from his classes who attend his college as well. This plays common as second seasons go so I don't know if that is true or not. The asian forums state it came from an intern who saw some brainstorm and flowcharts and the guy who posted it says he trusts the guy. And since he is the guy who supplies our team, and we know he IS in fact an intern at another studio, we kinda trust him. But as a junior, I have my doubts. Cause if my boss saw that someone leaked info about a future project, We'd all be fired and that project would be tossed. Cause it wouldn't be profitable for the competion to know what studios are doing before the final project is completed and all. But their are some studios who leak stuff just to see how the fans take it. And if responses are good they go for the project. I see so many ways to view the latest romours. But coming from a known source who has a good history for being right. The only thing I could see is that the studios may change the story outlines. But he did stste that the intern he spoke with was only talking about drafts and brainstorm ideas. it could just be that the studios are only thinking about doing another season but may not if they can't design a good story. I just hope they do make a second season, or they just make a spin-off.

Yep, it is well known. She always goes president this, president that... And would take any kind of abuses from Takako. So it was quite hilarious in ep. 13 (the parody).

You did get the Takako end at the parody. Mizhuo x Takako as Maria's servants That one cracked me up.

Anyway, Shion still has my vote. For the time being, I hope Prism Ark can fill the void while we ponder on the possibility of a season 2.

B-sama it wasn't really our wishful thinking that sparked the whole second season mayhem....I think it was Juhachi who said there was a leaked rumour of a possible second season.....which is SO DAMN POSSIBLE TO DO.....of course this rumour was never "COMPLETELY" denied, so there's still hope...so keep praying my dear friends for a second season of OtoBoku!!! XDDDD
