Set in the RPG (role-playing game) world of Master of Epic (Moepic), a Japanese MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), this anime adaption explores various aspects of the game. A number of characters are presented during a series of short, fairly random, comedy sketches which lampoon the online gaming environment. At the beginning of each episode two elves, who act as hosts, introduce specific game elements which serve as a theme for all of the sketches.


This anime is quite funny if you have had experience playing RPGs but it would be very confusing if you haven’t.

Actually this is a very good anime, but if you find it weird I wouldn't blame you, this is because lots of gags are directly referred to things that happen in Japanese mmorpg and its culture...I really enjoyed watching this because I've been played on Japanese mmorpgs for like around 5 years, and lots of the ironic things that happen in the anime DO happen in the games.

Really...don't confuse mmorpg with regular rpg that you play alone on a game console...

Hmm.. .hack was an rpg anime.... and it did very well
the thing with this one is... Well i love the no plotness of it.. but the uber drugged haracters are the strong point in my opinion.

No There are 12 episodes in the entire series. 9 of them just have not been subbed.

Episode 3 another good one.

Too bad about the wait for this episode... It was worth it though. I hope this series doesn't get tired out too soon though.

Waragecha 5 robbing a bank when the whole time you thought they were going to foil the original bank robbers lol.

At first, I suffered a bad case of chibi overload; however, I soon experienced feelings of nostalgia. Although this is about a MMORPG, the situations put me in mind of my AA days (Ancient Anguish – a MUD). *Nahrallah grabs her elephant by the trunk, swings it madly around and whaps herself in the head! What a hit!!!* I was very fond of my cuddly pink elephant … but I digress. Anyone who hasn’t played a RPG (role-playing game) would find this a bit hard to understand and probably wouldn’t appreciate the humour. It examines the kindness of upper level players to newbies, gender switching, messing with NPCs, poorly parked mammoths causing obstructions and summoning pets as an alternative food source ... among other things. Very quirky and quite funny at times. Some of the humour is subtle and some of it is anything but!

It about a world which is a mmorpg. It has lots of funny moments which poke at the irony thing that the players do or happen lot in online rpg gaming
Seriously, this is one of the underrated anime which is actually very decent.

True that Cologne is played by a male player, but I doubt he is a middle-age otaku since the way 'she' talks she used 'boku' not 'ore'. The use of 'boku' indicate that he should be no older than in the teens...if he had any intention of trying to hide her true gender or is not of young age, she would not have used 'boku' to refer to herself at the first place For all we know, the player of Cologne could be a boy which look like a bishoujo (pretty girl) like Mizuho of 'Otome Wa Boku Ni Koishiteru'

P.S. Oh crap!! I just tried to watch episode 2 and it won't play properly as well!! The whole video is in orange, yellow, green colour! I had other video with the similar problem as well, which I had no problem playing in the pass. I'm guessing it's either some of the codec we installed fxcked it up, or may be it was Windows update that fxcked it up...

Edited: I just downloaded and installed the 'WMV3 codec for Windows Media Player 7.1 and later', and the problem is solved! If anyone else have the same problem (who is using probably Windows), go to this page here and download the codec:
