Oct 31 2007 01:48 PM Well... I like the last episode and the ending, and i mean the one that came after the credits was great! Although I wanted to see what happened in what seemed to be a drunken beach party when everyone was lying on the sand, I think it's better they left it like that other than show another episode which would come as serious. I'm glad it ended that way for Kaname and Amuro. It was sweet and without the mush.
Although... it really makes you wonder what Shizouka asked from Kaname and if she every got that tusk-looking... pe-pe-pe...
Yeah the ending made the series worthwhile! the captain cracks me up every time So glad about the final scene! pretty much what everybody wanted to see! Overall it wasn't an overly amazing anime but I suppose it wasn't all that bad, apart from a lack of direction in places it was rather satisfactory.
Smittles you took the words right out of my mouth. This anime wasn't the best but good enough to keep you watching
It had some very very funny moments. I wish they would have gave us one extra episode instead of highlighting it at the end.
I would have liked to seen more of the two rival schools interaction with Umisho

Oct 30 2007 06:44 PM I was disappointed she wasn't a mermaid, but OTOH this is an anime-only ending since the manga is still ongoing, so maybe in the manga she will turn out to be a mermaid. I don't know about a second series, it didn't look like they were aiming towards one but I wouldn't count it out either.

Oct 30 2007 03:45 PM I think most portions of the series were a hoot - but could have easily lived through it without the cross-dressing captain. An American trait, I suppose.
I admit I thought Amuro really was a mermaid, and a transformation would occur in the final episode, leading to all sorts of trouble. But I am just as content with her not being one.
Looks like they are setting up for a second season. I wonder how popular the show was in Japan? Do they have ratings like in the U.S.?

In a post i wrote choose another group or you will never be able to watch the last episode. My post was deleted very fast and they banned my IP. All i can tell the [AYU]guys: grow up and stop fooling around with other people.
Oct 28 2007 08:40 PM Although its not the greatest anime, i think its well worth the subbing efforts. i am really impatient when it comes to waiting for animes to be subbed thats why i don't start an anime until they subbed at least the last or second to last episode, yet somehow i still end up waiting . I know subbers have lives and i respect that but if its the last episode and they aren't subbing it because of a bit of criticism, then i start to feel bad, and no one wants to make me feel bad
