In order to avoid Earth's impending destruction from an asteroid, the International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) works on the "D-Project", and creates the "Dragonaut" after finding a dragon egg under the ocean. However, they soon find out that the asteroid is not their only threat, as powerful dragon-like creatures appear on Earth. After witnessing a murder by one of the creatures, Jin Kamishina gets involved in the mysteries of the dragons and becomes the chosen pilot of the Dragonaut. Helping him on his journey is Toa, a mysterious girl who saves him from falling to his death after the creature attacks him. As they get deeper into the mysteries of the dragons, they encounter new friends and enemies, and also begin to develop a closer relationship.

Yay! Love saved the word again!
After Mars, and the time skip, and the horrible "resolution" to the Kazuki storyline, this show, that had some good potential ended with an unsatisfying thud.
Oh well, at least there were boobs.

Well, the original series run is 25 episodes and there is going to be a DVD only episode that will be released with the final volume of DVDs......hopefully, its an after story episode which would be nice.
The last DVD volume (aka volume 09) will be released on
9th of September
....a long way to go!

No, there is still one more episode, but we just have to wait for it to be subbed.

I think people who use this site exclusively might be confused because episode 22 and 23 aren't available on the FTV Dragonaut page, but a torrent for both packaged together is can be attained here:

hey do you know if there's a ddl link also?

When are they gonna sub the freaking last ep!? its already been about 2 months since ep 24 came out grrr HURRY UP.
You have absolutely no sense of time do you? It's been less than 2 weeks since Dragonaut 24 aired in Japan and it was then released subbed 2 days after. And it's been less than a week since 25 aired in Japan. That is a far shorter time than the 2 months you seem to think have gone by.

Just watched the final episode ...
Professor Nozaki sacrificed himself and is the last dragon to die. Fortunately, none of the dragonauts since Akira have died, they all survived and the stigma in Toa's body is gone thanks to the relationship of Jin and Toa, Thanatos finally saw and gave them their future. At last, Thanatos left earth unharmed. I was sad to see Gio go but he has to since he's become the successor of Thanatos so he must be by Thanatos' side all the time.

*face kick*
All is forgiven Kazuki. All is forgiven.
If the series was pulled out a bit more, I think it could have been great. With a rush to shove this much into 24 episodes, and using the first few to find Toa messed it all up for me. I'll lave it a 5/10 so far. I hope the ending is happy, though a sad ending leaves a good mark on one

Can't wait for the final episode. I really hope they give this series a happy ending one and not some tear-jerker.
